We reported last week on the NFL’s discussions regarding helmet decals to honor victims of police brutality. This was a wild swing from the league’s previous stance on its uniform policy and ‘personal messages’. Now, on Monday, the NFL confirmed it will cater to the radical left like never before this season, with not just helmet decals but also social justice messages in team end zones.

NFL Caters To Radical Left With Helmet And End Zone Messaging
According to the NFL Network, executive Anna Isaacson informed teams that they will be given a list of names that they can place on their helmet decal. In addition, teams can also choose a “victim of systematic racism who is not on that list.”
“As we continue to amplify and elevate the NFL’s ongoing and long-term commitment to social justice, we will be incorporating several prominent elements on the field, into all broadcasts and across league and club platforms to begin the NFL season and beyond,” the NFL memo read. “In developing these concepts, we have worked directly with players and received input from the NFLPA.”
Making it clear that the NFL’s social justice campaign extends well beyond simple helmet decals. Now they’re planning to use their fields and broadcasts to amplify the movement.
Some examples of messages that will be placed in team end zones include “It Takes All Of Us” and “End Racism.”
On top of that, the NFL has confirmed that it will be playing the song “Lift Every Voice and Sing” before all Week 1 games. “Lift Every Voice and Sing” is also known as the black national anthem.
As we pointed out last week, the league’s decision to promote social justice messaging is quite a pivot from past sanctions for Christian, pro-police, and even cancer messages.
NFL Hit With Backlash Over Social Justice Messaging
Of course, not everyone is happy with the NFL’s new social justice platform.
The league is already receiving backlash for what many see as a submission to the radical left:
Already a lot of people are dropping sports. If they push this social justice/BLM thing too far they are going to lose a lot of money. People don't come to sporting events to be preached at.

Not matter if you agree with this or not I do not see this ending well~I see fans walking away from the game~Just hearing people talk~Same thing happened to A&E when they dropped Live PD and other first responder shows~They lost a large number of viewers~

Exactly what sports fans want, more social justice pandering from a bunch of millionaires and billionaires during one of the only escapes from reality we have left

Roger Goodell Apologizes To Anthem-Kneelers
Following the death of George Floyd back in May, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell apologized for not doing more to support Colin Kaepernick and those who followed his lead by taking a knee to protest racial inequality during the national anthem.
“We, the National Football League, condemn racism and the systematic oppression of black people,” said Goodell. And he didn’t stop there.
NFL Commissioner Goodell then walked it all back, “We, the National Football League, admit we were wrong for not listening to NFL players earlier and encourage all to speak out and peacefully protest. We, the National Football League, believe black lives matter. I personally protest with you and want to be part of the much needed change in this country.”

It’s sad to see the NFL being politicized so blatantly by the radical left. If you ask me, politics has no place in professional sports.
There was a time when Americans could enjoy a game of football as an escape from the negative world of politics.
But it appears those days are long gone. Now the question is will they ever be back again?
