Meghan Markle Has Lost All ‘Trust’ In Her Estranged Father Thomas

A renowned royal biographer is speaking out this week to claim that Meghan Markle has “a complete lack of trust” in her estranged father Thomas Markle. 

‘Complete Lack Of Trust’ Between Meghan And Her Father

“When it comes to Meghan, there’s just a complete lack of trust,” royal biographer Andrew Morton told Fox News. “She just doesn’t know that, if she were to reach out, if that will result in Thomas immediately going out and selling the story to tabloids. She can’t risk it. And it’s very sad because the reality is, Thomas isn’t getting any younger. And he has yet to meet his grandchildren.”

Meghan and her father have been estranged ever since her father was caught selling photos to the paparazzi just before her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry. 

“[When it comes to paparazzi], Harry goes into combat mode,” Morton explained. “He has instantly sued various agencies. One company even filed for Chapter 11. He will go above and beyond to protect his family. Meghan has had an easier ride than Diana ever did.”

When asked whether Meghan and her father can put aside their differences, Morton replied by saying “it’s complicated.”

“The damage has been done,” he said. “So where do you go from here? How can you get that trust back, completely? It is a sad story from all sides.”

Thomas Markle Takes A Dig

Thomas has previously spoken out against Harry’s plans to release a tell-all memoir about the royal family, which is due to come out next year. 

“Harry’s coming out with a book, and that can’t be anything but cruel and to insult his grandmother, the queen,” he said. “It’s a ridiculous idea, and it’s just something for money. That’s all they’re doing. Everything they’re doing is for money.”

In an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Thomas Markle took a dig at the couple. So, he wants to see his grandchildren, but he’s still vocal with his criticism.

Thomas Begs To Meet His Grandchildren 

Thomas also went on live television to beg Meghan to allow him to meet her two children, Archie and Lilibet.

“We’re at a point where I think both of us, we should grow up, talk, make up for the sake of the children,” Thomas said. “This is ridiculous. Almost four years. It’s crazy.”

“My message for the kids is that they have two loving families,” he added. “… I think it’s important for them to know that they have two families and eventually they’re going to grow up and they’re going to want to know more about them.”

“Eventually sooner or later, she should start talking to me,” Thomas added.
