Joy Behar’s behavior on the ABC talk show “The View” is finally blowing up in her face as fans are attacking her for being “incredibly rude” this week.

Behar ‘Incredibly Rude’ On ‘The View’

The Sun reported that fans took issue with Behar appearing to be asleep during “The View” moderator Whoopi Goldberg’s outro on Tuesday morning’s show.

“Welcome back. Before we go, we wanted to take a moment to pay our respects to yesterday’s deadly shootings in California and Illinois,” Goldberg said. “You know there have been 39 mass shootings in the first month of 2023 and obviously and unfortunately it is not going away and it is one we will be addressing again.”

As Goldberg spoke, Behar could be heard saying “God.”

“We’re glad that you watched us,” Goldberg added. “We’re glad that you came to be with us. We want you to have a great day to take a little time to enjoy the view and really take time to enjoy the view. And we’ll see you tomorrow.”

As the camera panned out, each of the co-hosts had solemn looks on their faces. In contrast to each of them, however, Behar had her head down and looked like she was sleeping. It was unclear if Behar was purposely trying to feign being asleep, or if she was on her cellphone, but viewers were not having it either way.

“Can’t u wait a minute for the show to be over?” one fan commented on social media. “wtf did u ever do without your freakin phone? @theview #TheView @JoyVBehar kinda sad.”

“The most rude, ignorant old lady ever!!” another fan added, with a third commenting that Behar “comes across as a mean bully and makes it very difficult to watch the show. It’s not funny – it’s just rude.”

Behar ‘Rude’ To Guest

This comes one week after viewers slammed Behar for giving a “rude” nickname to guest Kristin Chenoweth, a Broadway star who is 54 years-old and stands at four-foot-eleven. Behar began the interview by calling out Chenoweth’s height when she said that they “raised the seat a little” for her.

“We hear you’re working on a new Broadway show,” one co-host said. “Can you tell us anything about that?”

“It’s gonna be good,” Chenoweth replied.

“Well, we love having you. You’re a little girl with a big voice and a big heart,” Behar said in response.

Fans Slam Behar

Fans found it both belittling and offensive that Behar would call Chenoweth a “little girl.”

“Little girl? No Joy she’s a grown woman. I didn’t care for that remark from Joy. #Theview,” one fan commented, with another adding, “Joy calling Kristin a lil’ girl! It’s probably the voice! #theview”

Behar was one of the original co-hosts of “The View” when it premiered back in 1997, and though she was briefly fired back in 2013, she was brought back in 2015 and has been on the show ever since. The backlash to her behavior as of late, however, indicates that fans may have finally had enough of her antics.

If Behar doesn’t clean up her act soon, her days on “The View” could be numbered. Oh, how nice it would be to not have her squawking on television every day anymore!
