Jim Carrey Pushes Socialism

Jim Carrey continued his descent into the deep end by completely endorsing socialism. The multi-millionaire appeared on “Real Time With Bill Maher” where he professed his love for freebies.

The Canadian actor has become unhinged since Donald Trump’s election, but nobody expected him to endorse the same leftist policies that have sent Venezuela into utter chaos. Carrey, who makes tens of millions on each movie, wants to spend other people’s money on his leftwing pet projects.

“We have to say yes to socialism — to the word and everything,” Carrey told Maher. “We have to stop apologizing.”

His endorsement of socialism proves that Carrey clearly has an affinity for spending other people’s money. Since Carrey is quite wealthy from his decades-long tenure in Hollywood, he should be the one shelling out his own money to fund the pet projects as Governor Huckabee points out in the tweet below.

Carrey extols the greatness of socialized medicine in his home country of Canada. He claims it makes everyone happy, but it doesn’t. Thanks to socialized medicine, wait times to see a specialist in Canada have increased by 128%. If you’re having a serious health crisis and can’t get in to see a specialist because the burdens of socialized medicine have strained the system, you’re not likely to be happy, as Carrey claims.

Perhaps Jim Carrey should give his millions of dollars to the people he claims needs it more or he could always just pay extra to the IRS.

Comments like Carrey’s are causing a real headache for the Democratic Party. Their activists keep drifting further and further to the left. This is alienating more moderate voters and will very likely embolden Republicans in November’s midterm elections.

This just shows us once again how out of touch Hollywood and the Democrats are.
