Joe Biden’s @POTUS account only follows a handful of people. While many of his voters would consider it an honor to earn one of those rare follows, 35-year-old model and TV personality Chrissy Teigen couldn’t handle the pressure of it and begged him to unfollow her.
Teigen was very public about her hatred towards President Trump. He even blocked her on Twitter.
She used that as a reason to get Biden to follow her, but it turned into something the model wasn’t ready for.
Teigen asked for the follow from the longstanding politician and quickly regretted it.
Teigen Asked President Biden To Follow Her
On January 20th, she tweeted Biden’s personal account writing, Hello @joebiden I have been blocked by the president for four years can I get a follow plz.”

Later that same day, while Teigen was in Washington, D.C. to watch her husband sing for the Inauguration, she got the notification that Biden followed her.
The other accounts he followed were members of his administration such as Vice President Kamala Harris and White House Chief of Staff Ronald Klain.

Teigen was dancing on cloud nine about her presidential follow.
She was all in for Biden but like most love affairs with politicians, this one was not to last long.
The model and mother even foreshadowed the quick demise the day after her follow. She tweeted, “A miracle if my potus follow lasts the full four years.”

Chrissy Teigen Has A Regret About Joe Biden
While many might have assumed her POTUS follow wouldn’t last because of Biden’s health, it was something else entirely.
A month and three days after getting what she wanted, Teigen asked Biden to unfollow her.
She simply couldn’t handle it anymore. The honeymoon was over that fast.
“I have tweeted a handful of times since my treasured @POTUS following,” she tweeted. “In order for me to flourish as me, I must ask you to please lord unfollow me. I love you!!! It’s not you it’s me!!!!”

She got what she wanted a second time. @POTUS unfollowed her. Teigen celebrated with a profanity laced tweet.
