Fans of television in the 60s and 70s will remember Mike Connors of the show “Mannix.” Connors played private detective Joe Mannix on the show has died at age 91, just a day after Mary Tyler Moore’s passing. He also was in the “Ten Commandments.”
Viewers loved the show that ran for 8 years because Mannix was tough and got emotionally involved in his cases. The actor won a Golden Globe for his performance on the show. Connors died just a week after being diagnosed with leukemia.
Maureen McCormick who was on TV as Marcia Brady tweeted her condolences.
