NHL fans got a big treat when Carrie Underwood took to the ice to sing the National Anthem prior to the start of the 3rd game in the playoff series between the Nashville Predators and the Chicago Blackhawks.
This surprise performance wasn’t announced until Underwood took to the ice. She was the perfect person to sing as her husband Mike Fisher is the captain of the Predators. She was also the perfect choice because she’s so supportive our military and our country!
The crowd went wild when it was announced that Carrie would sing the National Anthem. You can see her performance in the video below.
That was terrific! Carrie must have been a good luck charm as the Predators won in overtime. They are now up 3-0 in the series. They will clinch the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs with just one more win!
