Alabama Brought Down the House Singing Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Song

Lynyrd Skynyrd and Alabama are two southern bands that have really enjoyed a lot of longevity. While their genres are different, there is a lot of crossover appeal with these two power bands.

In 2014, Skynyrd had a concert that included some other performers. Alabama was one of those groups that took to the stage at the One More For The Fans! – Celebrating The Songs & Music of Lynyrd Skynyrd concert.

Alabama performed Skynyrd’s “Gimme Three Steps” to a lot of cheers. They did a tremendous job putting their spin on the legendary song as you can see in the video below.

I would have loved to have been at that concert! Charlie Daniels also performed. It would be terrific to see all those legends perform together.
