Hello again everyone! It’s that time again…another RAW, which means another Nutshell. Tonight’s RAW is going to be focused on the Survivor Series fallout. We should have an idea of who is next to face Braun Strowman, since he was “due that match” and was relatively well behaved on Sunday night. We should also figure out what is next for RAW Women’s Champ Ronda Rousey, or at least get an update from her on her condition. All that and so much more, so without any more delay, let’s crack open this Nutshell!
Best Match of the night:
This is a tough one, but I think I am going to leave this one untouched. Sure, we will order soon enough, but for now he just needs to respect the Nerf gun.
Worst match of the night:
I was not a huge fan of Tamina and Nia versus Sasha and Bayley…but I am also, quite honestly, not any sort of Tamina fan whatsoever. Aside from her size and strength, I just don’t see the value there in having her on the roster anymore. Maybe it’s just me?
uuuuuu
Crowd Chants of the Night:
AoP-P
Becky
There were others, but those were the two that stood out most.
Star of the Night
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, I think these both deserve a nod here. It was a nice story throughout, with vignettes supporting ea]cch side.u
Spot of the Night:
This one I give to the show closing brawl between Ambrose and Rollins. It’s just a teaser of what’s to come, but so far, Seth is seemingly always getting the raw deal
Holy Sh** Moment of the Night:
I do believe the end of the opening six on six match qualifies. The ending saw the heel trio of McIntyre, Corbin and Lashley absolutely devastate Braun Strowman.
Toward the end of the show, the announcers reveal Strowman has a broken elbow, which if true, is bad. I know that there were earlier rumblings of him working hurt, so perhaps they finally decided to let Strowman get things right? This probably needs some more information to come out. However, considering they’d already announced the TLC match between Strowman and Corbin, I can’t imagine any injury, if it’s legit, will keep Braun out too long
LOL Moment of the night:
Who doesn’t love juvenile humor? Not like I am pushing anything, but the interaction in the catering area was comedy gold, even if you aren’t a fan of the show.
Noteworthy Moment:
Interesting stipulation for the TLC clash between acting GM Baron Corbin and Braun Strowman. If Corbin wins., he becomes the permanent RAW GM. If Braun wins, he keeps his future WWE title shot.
Overall lowlights:
Not a whole lot to voice a negative opinion
Overall highlights:
It was by no means stretching to fill Undertaker in a regular match. But having one where I know the folks==== and they news ome other ideas,
After the final bell:
Not a bad show for the one following a major PPV. WWE had to jump right back into things, which is exactly what they need to do, considering the proximity of Survivor Series to TLC.
