Hello again ladies and gentlemen! It’s my favorite hour of WWE television. That’s right, it’s NXT! This week’s hour promises to cram in some of the best wrestling of the year into the show. How so? Because we have a rematch of a great match. Not only that, but it’s a triple threat match. That is right folks, tonight we get Ricochet‘s North American title on the line as he defends against UK champ Pete Dunne and first ever North American title holder Adam Cole. So is the triple threat worth the wait? Probably, but let’s crack open the Nutshell and find out!
Best Match of the night:
Well…this one was one of the easiest ones to call out. The triple threat main event was easily match of the night and puts itself into consideration for match of the year. It was very good, to say the least
Worst match of the night:
Nothing. Only two matches, none worth complaining about.

All three participants deserve a nod, but the clear star was Ricochet. He won what has to be considered a contender for at least NXT match of the year, if not more than that. Very good TV match, not to be missed. Seriously, if you did not bother to watch, go do it. Even if you only watch that match from this week’s show, you will not be disappointed.
I will give an honorable mention to Nikki Cross. Talk about being put in a unique spot, with the diminutive female Superstar coming down during a segment featuring the NXT champion and presumably the next in line for the belt. She acquitted herself brilliantly, and best of all (I think, anyways) the Full Sail crowd was very into her.
Spot of the Night:
Seriously, plenty to pick from tonight.
More a general statement, but Keith Lee is impressive. In theory a man of his size should not be able to move with the ease which he does.
The main event did not disappoint. Plenty of unique spots-a double super kick on Ricochet, the double hurricanrana off the top, so many others. I’d say the main event was chock full of spots worthy of a mention here, but there were more than a few of them, so I just highlighted a few
Jobber of the Night:
Folks, we had no jobber tonight. Well, I might argue that Kona Reeves is one, or should be, but that remains to be seen.

Holy Sh** Moment of the Night:
OK, maybe not a complete holy sh!@ moment, but as Tommaso Ciampa and Velveteen Dream were verbally sparring, Nikki Cross interrupted. Remember, early on it was shown that Cross was apparently on the roof of a building overlooking where Aleister Black was laid out. She’s long since maintained that she knows who did what, but has yet to say so.
Now, she came out and she flat out looked at Dream and off mic said “I know what you did”. But then she went to Ciampa, knocked the mic out of his hand and then, from the mat, said “I know what you did too”. She tormented Ciampa a bit more before leaving the ring. It sure seems like she just fingered Ciampa as the culprit though.
Botch of the night:

LOL Moment of the night:
“I may be a little bald man…but I am a little bald man with a shiny gold belt”. Funny line, whether you like the guy or not.
Had to laugh that the crowd chanted for a triple threat when Nikki came to the ring.
Also funny that she played with Dream’s jacket.
Noteworthy Moment:
Nikki possibly confirming Ciampa was the culprit was big.
The triple threat match was noteworthy and awesome.
Kassius Ohno with another promo with Regal. I like that they are giving him more TV time, and it does feel edgy enough to push him toward heel status, maybe.
Nikki is certifiably crazy.
Next week, tag titles, Undisputed Era versus War Raiders plus Nikki Cross and Bianca Belair, being billed as a double main event.
Overall lowlights:
Nothing. I could complain about only two matches, but both were good. The show could have only been the main event and no one would be able to complain.
Overall highlights:
Pretty much everything in this show was a highlight. From the opening segment, the opening match and the main event, it was a pretty strong show from top to bottom.
After the final bell:
I wait till it’s officially official, but I dare say it will be nice to see Ciampa in a match not involving Johnny Gargano. Nothing against Johnny Wrestling-they had great matches-but it’s time to branch out.
Curious to see how much more they drag out the Aleister Black whodunnit. I have to think Nikki is about to spill the beans.
Kassius Ohno continues to simmer. Give the guy a shot!
Results:
Tommaso Ciampa opens the show, cutting a promo on Velveteen Dream. Dream comes down and the two verbally go at it until Nikki Cross interrupts and implies that Ciampa took out Black.
Limitless Keith Lee defeats Kona Reeves
