All Elite seems to be investing heavily into AEW Dynamite Grand Slam. And once again, it is an event we are thoroughly looking forward to.

Women’s Championship Match Confirmed For AEW Dynamite Grand Slam

AEW Dynamite Grand Slam

AEW Dynamite Grand Slam will be a good one for the women’s division. After all, the event will have the championship match between Ruby Soho and Britt Baker.

Ruby Soho won the Battle Royale during All Out. As a result, she gets a championship opportunity against Baker.

Baker and Soho could be heading for a several month long feud. At least that is the hope.

Of course, Soho is not the only one Britt Baker has to worry about. In fact, she still has to think about her rivalry with Thunder Rosa.

No other women’s matches have been confirmed for Dynamite. However, I still hope that Dynamite will decide to put another women’s match on there.

It is time that the women’s division gets more attention. Fortunately, there is the talent present to do just that.

Kenny Omega Versus Bryan Danielson

But the match everyone looks truly forward to is the one between Kenny Omega and Daniel Bryan. If there was ever a dream match, this one is certainly it.

As it stands, Bryan is a fan favorite. Of course, Omega is a fan favorite too, but with heel Don Callis by his side he can play the dark side quite easily for now.

I have no doubt in my mind that many people will tune in for this matchup. So, it was certainly a good decision of AEW to put this particular feud right into AEW Dynamite Grand Slam.

Other Announcements

CM Punk

AEW made some other interesting announcements for their upcoming as well. One of them is an interview with none other than CM Punk.

It also seems that MJF moved on from this feud with Chris Jericho for now. The wrestler is currently on the card to face Brian Pillman.

Of course, it is quite possible that Chris Jericho will interfere in the match in some capacity. For now, Chris Jericho is not on the card, so I am expecting some surprises for Grand Slam.

In addition to all the good matchups already, we can also count on the stellar match with Jon Moxley. As AEW announced, it will be Moxley and Kingston versus Suzuki and Archer.

And if that does not do it for you just yet, I have more. That’s right, the feud between Malakai Black and Cody Rhodes continues!

Black absolutely destroyed Rhodes during their last match. So, it could be time for the American Nightmare to make a much anticipated return.

Finally, there is even more star power thanks to Sting and Darby Allin. They will be facing off against FTR.

Plenty of new matchups and ideas in this particular event and I am here for it. I adore the fact that wrestling is exciting again.

So in short, thanks AEW for the awesome lineup so far.
