When The Miz returned to Monday Night RAW last week, his wife was right by his side. Many fans were excited to see the duo back on television again but wondered what Maryse’s status was with the WWE.

Current Status Of Maryse On RAW

According to PW Insider’s Mike Johnson, Maryse will be around the WWE for a while. She’s signed a contract with the company and is set to be a regular on the RAW roster again.

Both Miz and Maryse are filming the next season of their reality TV show, Miz & Mrs. This is its third season, which is scheduled to be released at some point in 2022.

More About Maryse’s Current RAW Status

Maryse started in the WWE through the 2006 Diva Search competition. She was eliminated early on, but officials “saw” something in her.

She was invited to train and debuted with Ohio Valley Wrestling later that year. In 2007, she signed a deal with the WWE.

Miz and Maryse met during the Diva Search. They got married in 2014, and are proud parents to two beautiful little girls.

Maryse has also had quite the WWE career so far. She’s held the Divas Championship twice and won the 2010 Diva title tournament when the title was vacant.

Ms. Mizanin isn’t the only superstar that has a new contract with WWE. Jerry Lawler has signed a deal as well.

Jerry Lawler Inks New WWE Deal

Mike Johnson from PW Insider also reports that wrestling legend Jerry “The King” Lawler is staying with the WWE. He just re-signed a contract with the company.

Maryse Current RAW Status

The length of the deal is not known. He’s not been on WWE commentary since April 2020.

Lawler returned to RAW last night, during the December 6th edition of the show that took place in Memphis, Tennessee. This is the King’s hometown.

He participated in a backstage segment with Nikki ASH and Rhea Ripley. It’s unknown if Lawler will become a RAW regular or if this was a one-off appearance.

With that said, the King still appears on pay-per-view shows now and again. However, he hasn’t been a RAW regular since the COVID-19 pandemic hit.

The King’s History With The WWE

Jerry joined WWE/WWF in 1992. Despite an incredible wrestling career, he joined the company as a commentator.

While he would wrestle now and again, he mainly worked the commentary table. His color commentary with good old Jim Ross is still legendary in the minds of many fans.

His first feud in the WWE was with Bret “The Hitman” Hart. Lawler was also the first babyface to feud with the company’s chairman, Vince McMahon.

This rivalry was well before VKM’s infamous program with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Many believe the feud with Lawler sparked the “evil” Mr. McMahon persona, circa the Attitude era.

Lawler is also well-known for his feud with comedian Andy Kaufman. Many fans still remember the on-air fight the two had during the Late Night with David Letterman show in 1982.

It’s nice to know The King will still be with the WWE moving forward. Whether he becomes a regular or not.
