On a recent episode of The Oprah Podcast with Oprah Winfrey, the kiss cam Exec makes shocking reveal about the disastrous scandal that went viral last year.
Kristin Cabot sat down to reveal jaw-dropping context behind the infamous Jumbotron footage that swarmed the internet. The clip was from the Gillette Stadium in 2025 that showed Cabot sharing a passionate kiss with Astronomer CEO Andy Byron.
In the interview, which was first reported by People, Cabot admitted that she was already separated from her husband when the video was recorded. But what really shocked fans was that her estranged husband would not have been shocked to see her outside the office with Andy Byron, who was her boss when they went to the concern.
In the exclusive clip of the podcast, Cabot looked back on the controversy and recalled how she and her spouse, Andrew, almost crossed paths when she was with the show in July 2025.
“I was walking into the concert, and my daughter messaged me and said, ‘Oh, it’s so great that you and Andrew are both at Coldplay,'” Cabot said. “So she let me know that my estranged husband was also at the concert.”
“And in my mind I thought, well, that’s — is this going to be weird if he sees me with Andy [Byron]? Like … if I run into him,” she continues. “But then I was like, I’m in Gillette Stadium, there’s 55,000 people here, I’m probably not going to run into him.”
In hindsight, Cabot noted that it “would have been better at the end of the day if I’d just run into him.” But even though the internet has labeled her as a “homewrecker,” she clarified that her husband wouldn’t have been fazed to see her bond with Byron. “He [my ex] knows how closely Andy and I worked together, he knows we socialized — like got lunches and got drinks. It was fine,” Cabot says.
“He knows the nature of my work and the way, the relationship — I’ve shared desks with the CEOs I’ve worked with, like it’s just a very close relationship. And so it didn’t matter.”
The footage of the concert Jumbotron circulated rapidly on the internet and caused a lot of memes and jokes. The clip shows Cabot and Byron close, but quickly moving away from each other and even ducking away from the camera when they realized they were on the screen. Chris Martin, the singer and pianist of Coldplay, joked from the stage about a possible “affair.”
Since the incident, Cabot and Byron’s careers have taken a toll. They both left Astronomer, the tech company, and Cabot even went into detail with how much scrutiny she received, even receiving death threats.
