It’s official. Zach Bryan is a married man… again. But this one comes as a surprise to fans everywhere.
The news comes from an Instagram shared on New Year’s Eve of photos and a video showing Zach Bryan married Samantha Leonard in Spain. In the photo, Bryan, 29, smiles as he carries a grinning Leonard with a wine glass in hand.
And in the video, Bryan performs on a stage covering Bruce Springsteen’s Tougher Than the Rest.
While a romantic post, Bryan is known for his controversy in romantic relationships. This is just one year after the singer’s public breakup with Brianna LaPaglia. LaPaglia detailed the breakup on her podcast with Portnoy, allegedly turning down an NDA and exposing Bryan for causing emotional abuse.
In fact, it was such a shocking breakup that Brianna LaPaglia said that she was “blindsided” by the news. “I had no idea that post was going up,” she said in an October YouTube video. “He didn’t text me, he didn’t call me.”
This was also after his first marriage to Rose Madden, which lasted from 2020 to 2021.
Now, only a handful of months later, Bryan and Leonard are officially married. The country singer was seen with Leonard in Spain in July for the Running of the Bulls, and even spent time on a boat together in August. They made their relationship Instagram official after posting a loving birthday message to his girlfriend in October.
“From bull runs to all the bullshit, today is your birthday and I love you Samantha Marie,” he captioned the Instagram tribute. “To the only woman who can hike six miles in Chanel flats, skydive over the alps and catch a bigger fish than me all in the same day.”
With a history of rough relationships and a lot of controversy against Zach Bryan, fans are hoping that this one turns out to be healthy for both of them.
