The country music star Luke Bryan, 28, was forced to stop one of his own concerts over the weekend after a fan threw an unknown object at him.
Bryan Stops Concert
Bryan was performing at the Tacoma Dome concert in Washington state last weekend when a fan hurled an unidentified object at him, hitting the singer’s guest on the leg.
A visibly livid Bryan stopped singing and picked up the object. He then sent a glaring look in the direction from which it came from as he tried to figure out who threw it.
“Who threw this? Who was it?” Bryan asked as he held the object up. “Does anyone know?”
Bryan continued repeating these questions, but he got no response. He proceeded to give it a few minutes in the hopes that other fans would expose the culprit. When nobody came forward, however, Bryan gave up and issued a stern warning to his concertgoers.
“Don’t throw [expletive] at concerts, huh?” he said.
“And if you guys do know who threw it, you need to get ‘em outta here, if we ever find out who did it,” Bryan concluded.
Bryan’s next concert is scheduled to take place tonight at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.

Bryan’s Previous Incident
This isn’t the first time that Bryan has had an issue with a fan mid-concert. Back in May of 2023, Bryan asked for a woman to be removed from one of his concerts after she allegedly tried to grab his guitar out of his hands.
“Hey, get her out of here,” Bryan told security as he walked among the audience.
Bryan later took to social media to give his thoughts on what happened. However, his social media account has since been deleted.
“Took it personal, but nothing against whoever wound up getting kicked out,” he wrote at the time. “I don’t mind people being respectful and trying to touch me or the guitar, but if you try to rip it out of my hands I promise I’ll rip you out of whatever venue we’re at, respectfully, of course.”

Similar Incidents Take Place
There have sadly been many incidents of fans throwing things at singers during concerts as of late. Last year, a man was arrested and charged with assault after throwing a phone at Bebe Rexha during a show. Afterwards, Rexha was left with a black eye.
Soon after that, the country singer Kelsea Ballerini stopped one of her concerts after being hit with a bracelet.
“Someone threw a bracelet, it hit me in the eye, and it more so just scared me than hurt me,” Ballerini later wrote on Instagram. “We all have triggers and layers of fears way deeper than what is shown, and that’s why i walked offstage to calm down and make sure myself, band and crew, and the crowd all felt safe to continue.”
It seems that fans throwing things at concerts is really getting out of hand. Here’s hoping that people stop doing this so that singers can feel safe, and the rest of us can continue enjoying concerts in peace.
