Jonah is a 12-year-old boy from Texas who has became a viral star after a local television appearance. He gave a touching interview hoping to finally find a forever family to adopt him.

Jonah Wants To Be Adopted By A Forever Family

Jonah went to WFAA-TV’s studio wearing his Sunday best to participate in a segment called “Wednesday’s Child.”  The feature offers “a glimpse into a child’s life in foster care who wants more than anything to be adopted.”

When promoting Jonah’s interview on Twitter, the media outlet wrote, “We guarantee you haven’t met a person like 12-year-old Jonah.”

Jonah Gives Credit To God

In the interview, Jonah had a huge smile on his face as he talked about how God has gotten him through the difficult times in life.

“He’s brought me through many, many things,” Jonah said of God. “As far as abuse, before I came to CPS, he brought me through a lot…just, a lot, overall.”

Jonah, who is an honor roll student, gave credit to God for blessing him despite all he has been through in his short life.

“Waking me up this morning, you know what I mean? Starting me on my way, I’m in my right mind, I know what I’m doing, I know who I am, and I’m proud of the person that I am,” Jonah said.

“Reason why I want to be adopted,” the boy added, “is because I know there’s a family out there that fits me in the best possible way that they can.”

When asked why he wore a fancy suit to be interviewed, Jonah replied, “Well, I felt I needed to be proper in the most way that I could.”
