After only a month in theaters, fans can finally stream the hit A24 movie in the comfort of their own home. 2025’s highest-grossing romantic comedy so far is one you don’t want to miss. Here’s everything you need to know about how to stream Materialists now.

Directed and written by Celine Song, following her Oscar-nominated debut feature Past Lives, Materialists follows professional matchmaker Lucy Mason, who faces her own romantic dilemma: whether to explore a relationship with her ex, a struggling actor, or with wealthy commodities broker Harry. The hit casting also makes the film that much better with Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans, and Pedro Pascal.
“A young New York City matchmaker’s lucrative business gets complicated as she finds herself torn between the perfect match and her imperfect ex,” the official synopsis from A24 reads.
The film has been praised by many critics, with one, David Rooney, saying it’s a “refreshingly complex look at modern love, self-worth and the challenges of finding a partner in an unaffordable city, which once again treats three points of a romantic triangle with equal integrity and compassion.”

While A24 has not yet announced the Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD release date, it will hopefully be around August 2025.
