So, how can you stream A Minecraft Movie at home? The movie was released digitally on May 13th for streaming on-demand on platforms like Prime Video. The film costs $24.99 to buy or $19.99 to rent. If you rent the movie, be sure to start it within 30 days, and once you start it, you’ll only have 48 hours to complete it.
If you’re waiting for it to be released physically on Blu-ray or DVD, then you’ll have to wait a little longer. A Minecraft Movie should be releasing on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD on June 24, 2025. The physical editions will even include special editions.

Another way to stream A Minecraft Movie will be on Max, though there has not been any confirmation on when it will be released on the platform. The studio typically adds its theatrical releases to Max between 60 to 100 days after they come out in theaters, so we’re hoping sometime in June or July 2025.
