Mia Goth has been officially announced to play the newest villain in the next Star Wars installment. Goth is known as one of the best scream queens, performing in big horror movies in recent years. From her iconic roles like Maxine Minx in X to the titular character in Pearl, Goth is a modern horror icon.

When describing her roles in these films, most say that she’s unsettling, as she has a great sense of emotional rawness in her horror-driven performances, using an eerie presence to dominate scenes. Because of this, many are excited to see her performance as the new Star Wars: Starfighter villain.
While the details for the character are under wraps, The Hollywood Reporter stated that it will center around Gosling’s lead character protecting his nephew from pursuers. And Goth has been cast as one of these pursuers.

Many of the Star Wars villains have the same creepy and domineering presence as some of the iconic horror movies, so Goth should fit right at home and potentially create one of the most terrifying Star Wars villains in the franchise’s history.
For a quick look at the upcoming Star Wars: Starfighter, which will be in theaters in May 2027, here is the newest trailer.
