Prince George starting school

Kate Middleton and Prince William’s third child is on the way, but no announcement has been made about the due date. While many speculate about when the newest Royal will be born, some believe the Duchess may have dropped a hint about this back in July.

While in Poland, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were gifted baby toys. The toys were for children younger than Prince George and Princess Charlotte, so Kate said, “We will just have to have more babies!”

Some believe this was Kate’s way of dropping a major hint about her current pregnancy. If this is the case, the child would be expected in early spring 2018. The timing would also coincide with the tradition of an announcement coming at the end of the first trimester. A video about the pregnancy announcement and Kate’s hints in July is below.

But, that might not be the case. Kate suffers from hyperemesis gravidarum, an extreme case of morning sickness that often requires IV intervention. Because of this, Kate is unable to make public engagements. If she was pregnant in July when she dropped this possible hint, it would have been unlikely she could have traveled to Poland in such a condition. Perhaps she was just hoping to get pregnant soon when she teased everyone about the baby toys.

Hyperemesis could force the future King and Queen of England to make their pregnancy announcement earlier than tradition dictates as Kate’s public engagements continue to be canceled. Kate and William had to announce their first two pregnancies early for this very reason.

Expect the due date to be a mystery for a while. For her first two pregnancies, details on the due date and gender were withheld until the end. Hyperemesis is a debilitating condition. It is draining both physically and emotionally as the mother is unable to properly eat or socialize. Kate could certainly use our prayers for good health.
