lint trap, dryer fire

Dryers make our lives a lot easier but they also can be a safety hazard. A dirty lint trap can cause a fire! The lint not only needs to be removed, but you have to actually clean the trap out to remove build up.

You can see if the lint screen needs to be cleaned simply by running water through it. If the screen holds water, there is still flammable lint on it that needs to be cleaned. A dishwashing brush can help you clean it quickly.

About 3,000 fires are started by clothes dryers every year. This is a problem that is easily solved. Just a few minutes can keep your family safe.
