Hurricane Harvey is still wreaking havoc on Houston, but there is another hurricane that is threatening the East Coast.

Hurricane Irma is currently a category 3 storm, with winds upwards of 115 miles per hour, but it may gain enough steam to become a category 5 by the time it hits landfall. It’s still far enough from shore that the final intensity can’t be determined, but it has a lot of people on edge.

Hurricane Irma’s projected path is in the video below. As the meteorologist states, it’s still a few days away but Irma’s power is alarming.

A second large hurricane on the heels of Hurricane Harvey would really stretch the resources of the federal government. It would be a wise game plan for people on the East Coast to prepare for a massive hurricane but pray that it never hits them.
