Chrissy Corbitt expected that her fourth child would be large. Her older children were in the 9 to 10 pound range. Chrissy’s belly got so large that she had to give birth a week before her due date.

But, she was shocked at what doctor’s told her when she had her C-Section.Newborn Carleigh didn’t resemble the average 7.5 pound newborn. Instead, she tipped the scales at 13.5 pounds!

The Florida mom had gestational diabetes. This can lead to a larger birth size, but nobody expected Carleigh to be born needing size 3 diapers and 9 month clothes!

I can’t imagine how uncomfortable that must have been for Chrissy to be pregnant with such a large baby.
Carleigh was still growing at her 3 week checkup. She gained another 5 ounces. Look at those cheeks!
