As new parents to a child, you can’t spend money you don’t have, even though you want your baby to have the best things possible. In this story, a dad builds a walker for his baby rather than purchase a new one at his wife’s request.

The father, whose name is Hoyle, wanted to save his family some money, but he probably shouldn’t blatantly ignore his wife in the future.

Believe me, I had twins and I spent all the money I had on them, but I should have followed this father’s example instead.

My wife wouldn’t have appreciated me undermining her, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t have tried to save a little money for our family!

From Liftable:

“How much is it?” Mark Hoyle asked his wife in the car. She had just requested that he purchase a baby walker after work for their son, Phoenix.

After determining that the item would cost “like 60 quid,” Hoyle sighed and leaned back. Hoyle, blogger and YouTube personality of “LadBaby,” shared a video of this event on his social media channels, and the events that ensued.

In the video, after Hoyle asked his wife a final question about whether or not their son needed a baby walker, his wife answered definitively, “He needs to learn how to walk!” He agreed that he would get their son a baby walker.

The scene then shifted to Hoyle telling the camera privately that, “I ain’t spending 60 quid on a walker. Absolutely no chance.”

I hope that Hoyle realizes while he may have come up with a viral idea, he can’t expect to come up with a brilliant idea every time! Going forward, I am sure his wife will want to purchase new items for their child, so he probably won’t be able to get away with this stunt again!

But you have to give Hoyle an “A” for effort. Oh, and here’s a photo of Hoyle’s creation!

What did you think of Hoyle’s brilliant invention? Would you allow your baby to use it? Share your thoughts below!
