The Paris Olympics are in full swing. While much of the focus has been on the athletes themselves, many eagle eyed fans have noticed a ton of celebrities in attendance.
That’s why we’ve decided to highlight some of the biggest celebrities who have been spotted at the Olympics so far. Scroll through below and see if your favorite star is in Paris for the Olympics!
Kelly Clarkson
Kelly Clarkson, the original winner of American Idol, was sent to Paris to cover the opening ceremony as part of the NBC broadcasting team. Like millions of others around the world, Clarkson could not help but become emotional about Celine Dion’s performance.
“I’ve been inspired, I’ve been dancing, I was not ready for that ending,” Clarkson said afterwards. “If you know anything about Celine right now, she feels this is her purpose … and if you know anything about what she’s going through right now…”
“I’m so sorry, I’m trying to hold it together right now,” Clarkson added. “But then she got through that. That was incredible. In my field, she is the gold winner for vocal athletes.”
And speaking of Celine Dion…
Celine Dion
Celine Dion brought the house down when she performed at the Olympics opening ceremony. This marked her first live performance since announcing her devastating Stiff Person Syndrome diagnosis in December 2022.
“I’m honored to have performed tonight, for the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony, and so full of joy to be back in one of my very favorite cities!” she wrote on Instagram afterwards. “Most of all, I’m so happy to be celebrating these amazing athletes, with all their stories of sacrifice and determination, pain and perseverance.”
“All of you have been so focused on your dream, and whether or not you take home a medal, I hope that being here means that it has come true for you!” Dion continued. “You should all be so proud, we know how hard you have worked to be the best of the best. Stay focused, keep going, my heart is with you!”

“I feel so completely grateful to have been asked to open the Paris @Olympics 2024 this year,” she wrote on Instagram on Friday. “I am also humbled to be asked by the Olympics organizing committee to sing such a special French song — a song to honor the French people and their tremendous history of art, music, and theater.”
While there, Lady Gaga also dropped this little nugget for her fans: She’s engaged!
We found this out thanks to a viral video in which Lady Gaga was introducing her longtime boyfriend Michael Polansky to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal.
