Things got weird on the ABC talk show The View once again on Monday morning. Indeed, Whoopi Goldberg snapped at one of her co-hosts, screaming “what the hell?!” after she was passed a note.
Goldberg Snaps On Live TV
It all started when Goldberg and her co-hosts were discussing President Donald Trump’s 60 Minutes interview that aired on Sunday night.
During the segment, co-host Sunny Hostin pointed out that Trump had pardoned Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, the convicted founder of Binance, which is the world’s largest crypto exchange. Despite this, during his interview, Trump claimed that he didn’t know anything about Zhao or the pardon.
“The Trump family has made about $1.8 billion, profited off of this government and he said that Joe Biden didn’t know who he was pardoning using an autopen,” Hostin said. “How come you don’t know who this guy is?”
Goldberg chimed in to say, “because he used an autopen.”
While Goldberg was ranting later in the segment, Hostin wrote something down on a notecard and handed it to her.
“What the hell? What?” Goldberg said as she looked at the note. “We don’t know if Trump used an autopen to pardon, it was a joke!”
Goldberg proceeded to rip up the note as Hostin doubled down by saying verbally that they don’t know if Trump used an autopen.
Let’s just say this didn’t sit well with Goldberg.
“I’m sorry. The hardest thing about this job now is no one understands nuance,” Goldberg lamented. “You know when you hear a joke, when somebody is fooling around, when they’re not saying something specific. Especially on this show. I’m very specific when I’m pointing stuff out. When I’m making jokes, you know when I’m making jokes. This is ridiculous.”

Goldberg Gets Censored
This is far from the first time that Goldberg has come unglued on live TV on The View.
Last Thursday, Goldberg was censored as she appeared to curse while announcing that the conservative Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) will be appearing on The View on Tuesday, November 5.
“I don’t know how many things we agree on,” Goldberg said. “But the one thing we can agree on, this should not be affecting the American people.”
“These are decisions that you don’t have the right to…” Goldberg continued before her audio was cut off.
Goldberg proceeded to put her hand over her face as her co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin burst out laughing. Meanwhile, their co-host Sunny Hostin made a shocked face as Goldberg kept her hand placed over her mouth.
“You caught it!” Griffin exclaimed.
Goldberg could not help but smirk as she looked out at the audience.
“Well, you know where I’m at,” Goldberg said with a laugh before cutting to commercial.

Goldberg Denies Cursing
It certainly appeared to viewers like Goldberg had said the “F-word” and was subsequently censored. When the show returned from the commercial break, however, Goldberg was quick to deny this.
“Just so we’re all clear, our people just got a call, saying, ‘Whoopi just said a bad word. Do you have a comment?’ I didn’t say the bad word. I did not say it,” Goldberg claimed.
“She just thought it,” her co-host Joy Behar joked. This prompted Goldberg to admit, “I did.”
That’s when Goldberg really began to unravel.
“But, so, I know that you’re sitting, waiting for me to do something, waiting for something to happen,” Goldberg stated. “Could you just watch the show? I’d appreciate it if you just watched the show, and then you’ll know what really went on,” she added. “And do play it back the 50 times that you’re gonna do. But let’s be realistic.”
“The complaint came from a viewer?” Behar questioned.
“It came from one of our fans,” Goldberg concluded. “So I just had to clean that up for them.”
It seems that Goldberg is becoming more and more unhinged on The View by the day. Only time will tell how much longer ABC executives decide it’s worth keeping a clear liability like her around!
