Last month, we reported that the singer Taylor Swift was “done” with her former best friend Blake Lively. This came after Lively allegedly threatened to release a decade’s-worth of private text messages between herself and Swift if the singer did not publicly support her in her lawsuit against the director and actor Justin Baldoni.
Now, insiders are saying that Lively, 37, is “begging” Swift, 35, to give her another chance in groveling text messages.
Lively Is ‘Begging’ Swift To Forgive Her
“Even though Taylor has totally cut ties with her, Blake hasn’t with Taylor,” a source told Daily Mail. “She’s been reaching out to her with texts, voicemails and even emails begging to mend what they once had. Blake isn’t giving up on trying to get her friendship with Taylor back on track.”
Unfortunately for Lively, however, Swift is not having any of it.
“Taylor hasn’t responded to any of Blake’s pleas,” the insider continued. “She’s ignored all her grovelling excuses. The missives explain there must be some misunderstanding on Taylor’s part and that she would never do anything to harm their ten years of closeness and personal secrets.”
This comes after it was reported that Swift feels “betrayed” and “exploited” by Lively, an actress best known for starring in the television show Gossip Girl.

Lively’s Lawsuit
This all started back in December, when Lively sued Baldoni, her co-star and director in the It Ends With Us. Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and launching a smear campaign against her.
The next month, Baldoni fired back by countersuing. He accused Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds of defamation. Swift got dragged into this when Baldoni’s filing included screenshots of text messages and emails that named Swift. In one exchange, Lively even referred to herself as Khaleesi, a character in Games of Thrones. It was then that she referred to Swift as one of her “dragons.”
Baldoni went on to claim that Swift was present for a meeting about the movie that he had with Lively and Reynolds at their New York City penthouse. A source close to Swift, however, denied this. The insider claimed that the singer only arrived at the penthouse when the meeting was already happening. This insider alleged that Swift had no active part in it.
This has all resulted in Swift cutting ties with Lively.
“There is no recovering from this,” an insider told The Mail last month. “Their friendship is done.”
“What Blake has done was exploit the Godmother of her children and manipulate the public into thinking that she was watching out for her best interests,” the source added.
This was a reference to Swift being the godmother of the three oldest daughters that Lively shares with Reynolds, 48: James, 10, Inez, eight, and Betty, five. Find out more about that in the video below.
Swift Is ‘Totally Done’ With Lively
In the end, according to the original source, Swift has no plans to ever make amends with Lively. Indeed, it seems that while Lively can beg all that she wants to, it’s not going to get her anywhere with Swift.
“Taylor obviously still means so much to Blake, but Taylor’s totally done with her and as of right now, no requests will mend their bond as far as she’s concerned,” the insider concluded.
Ouch, that has got to hurt for Lively!
Only time will tell if Lively is able to get Swift to give her another chance. As of now, however, it’s definitely not looking good for Blake Lively.
