Yes, you read that correctly!
Harry And Jelly Roll Meet Up In NYC
Harry and Jelly Roll released a video on Tuesday in which it was revealed that the country music icon will headline the closing ceremony of the upcoming Invictus Games. The clip was posted to Instagram by the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025.
Whatever one thinks of Prince Harry, his Invictus Games are designed to be an athletic competition for servicemembers who were wounded or injured in action. It’s quite a nice program.
In the video, Harry, 40, and Jelly Roll, 39, met at East Side Ink, a tattoo parlor in New York City. Indeed, this tattoo parlor boasts many celebrity clients, including Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Susan Sarandon, Ruby Rose, and Bruce Willis.
“Take a look around, can we get you anything?” someone could be heard asking Harry as the video began.
“No, I’m alright. Is he going to be here any time soon?” Harry replied as he sat in a tattoo chair.
That’s when Jelly Roll walked in.
Jelly Roll Tattoos Harry
“Hey, hey! Tattoos! Speaking of! What’s up! I’m such a fan, dude,” Jelly Roll said to Harry. “Do you know I could not believe it when they called me and told me Prince Harry wanted to get a tattoo today? They wanted me to give him his first tattoo? This is the coolest thing ever!”
A visibly shocked Harry asked Jelly Roll why he was wearing a glove.
“We’re giving you a tattoo about the Invictus Games,” Jelly Roll replied.
“No, I came here to ask you to do the Invictus Games,” Harry exclaimed. “There’s no tattoo in this. I can’t get a tattoo!”
“I’ll play the Invictus Games, you just let me give you your first tattoo,” Jelly Roll fired back before repeating this deal once more.
Finally, Harry gave in, saying, “Alright, screw it, let’s go.”
Jelly Roll proceeded to fire up the tattoo gun, saying, “We gotta go for the neck!”
“I was thinking the lower back or on my [butt],” Harry interjected.
“Nobody wants to see your [butt], Harry!” Jelly Roll said with a laugh.
“No, that’s the place where no one is going to see it,” a panicked Harry explained.
“This is for the world!” Jelly Roll stated as he pointed to his own neck tattoo.
“Wait, have you done this before?” Harry asked, to which Jelly Roll hilariously replied, “Practically, pretty much.”
“A small one?” Harry asked as Jelly Roll worked. The country singer responded, “Like a baby getting its first haircut.”
“It feels big, man,” Harry later added.
“Commitment prince,” Jelly Roll urged. “This is going to be huge, man.”
Harry Panics
“What’s that!” Harry shouted as he looked in the mirror. “Dude, it’s enormous.”
“The Invictus Games are enormous,” Jelly Roll countered.
Harry was stunned to see that the country music star had tattooed “I Am Jelly Roll” on his neck. This was seemingly inspired by the Invictus Games “I Am” logo.
“Is that your name? Does that say Jelly Roll? You put your name on my neck?!” Harry questioned. “Wait, wait, wait, wait!”
“I’ll see you in Vancouver!” Jelly Roll concluded as he walked out. “I’ll be there, I appreciate you!”

2025 Invictus Games
Jelly Roll will be headlining the closing of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 on February 16, 2025. Harry, who was previously a captain in the British Army, launched the Invictus Games back in 2014.
Meanwhile, this will be the seventh Invictus Games, and it will be held in Vancouver from February 8 to February 16, 2025. Further, the “Invictus I Am” logo is inspired by William Ernest Henley’s iconic poem Invictus, which includes the phrase, “I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul.” This is known to be the message at the heart of the Invictus Games.
Jelly Roll is the perfect star to headline the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games. We can’t wait to see how he does!
