It’s been nearly one year since Rosie O’Donnell fled America and moved to Ireland. She did this in response to Donald Trump’s second presidential victory.
Now, O’Donnell is taking to social media to claim that she’s being targeted by a “scary” and “dangerous” stalker.
O’Donnell Targeted By Stalker
On Monday, O’Donnell took to her Substack to pen a post that she titled “digital stalker.”
“tiktok follower/ obsessed it seems/ with all things rosie/ ‘the lies’ i tell/ she has my phone number/sadly too easy to find/ in todays insane world,” wrote O’Donnell, 63.
The comedian continued, “she pretends to be others/ then gloats about it/ on line – complete with texts/ ‘do u speak about me in therapy’/ she asks – i do not hon/ trump like delusional existence/ him at the center of all/ her eyes are dark/ and tinged with madness/ i block her/ she makes a new account.”
O’Donnell Doubles Down
Not stopping there, O’Donnell proceeded to double down.
“i no longer answer texts/ if i dont recognize the number/ she has a scary vibe/ a dangerous stare/ a confused mind/ and a freaky focus on me/ it’s happened before/ sad to say/ a iraq war veteran with a TBI/ tragic in every way/ a woman who wants to be my wife/ a teen who asks to be adopted/ older folks just looking for connection/ usually breaks my heart/ but not this time,” O’Donnell lamented.
“as i find only anger in my heart/ leave me alone [expletive]/ floats thru my mind/ and to name her/ is to give her what she wants/ so i wont/ next stop restraining order/ fame is so complicated,” she wrote. “what role u play in a strangers life/ hard to understand/ to gage [sic] the actual danger/ to chose faith over fear/ my daily prayer/ aint working with this one.”
O’Donnell concluded by writing, “so i carry on/ in the light of Ireland/ taking in the greenery/ hanging with new friends/ loving my life/ ‘u have no power here/ off b4/ someone drops a house/ on u 2’/ wicked witchy woman/ fly away.”
O’Donnell Flees America
This comes after a tumultuous year for O’Donnell. Indeed, back in March, she announced that she had fled America because of Trump’s win. Last month, O’Donnell revealed that she’s in the process of applying for Irish citizenship.
“I am applying and about to be approved for my Irish citizenship. My grandparents were from there and that’s all you need,” O’Donnell said. “It will be good to have my Irish citizenship, especially since Trump keeps threatening to take away mine.”
“What’s coming is fascism in the United States, pure and simple,” she continued. “Christian white nationalism, and that’s not democracy, and that’s not a democratic republic, and you know, that’s not who we are. I feel that if we let them continue on, we are doomed as a democracy.”
Back in June, O’Donnell admitted to the former CNN host Chris Cuomo that she fled America specifically because of Trump. She even described this move as being one of “self-preservation,” since she greatly struggled during Trump’s first presidency.
“During his first go-round, it was very difficult, and I got myself into some bad places,” said O’Donnell. “You know, I was very, very depressed. I was overeating, I was overdrinking. I was so depressed, Chris.”
Given how crazy O’Donnell has shown herself to be, we can’t imagine why anyone would want to stalk her. In the end, we’re just glad that O’Donnell has left America, as our country is much better off without her in it!
