We previously reported that the disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was found not guilty on three of the five federal charges that he was facing. This led to mass outrage from the public. Indeed, he was found guilty of only the lesser of the charges that he was facing.
Now, Rosie O’Donnell is firing back by revealing how she feels about the jury’s decision. Her reaction has come as a shock to many. That’s because Rosie was previously both a friend and neighbor to Diddy for many years.
Rosie Loses It Over Diddy Verdict
Diddy, 55, was only found guilty of the Mann Act Transportation of both Cassie Ventura and an ex-girlfriend going by the pseudonym Jane. He was found not guilty of count one, the alleged racketeering conspiracy. He was also found not guilty of count two and count four, the sex trafficking of Ventura and Jane.
Diddy had been facing life in prison if he was convicted on all charges. He could still get twenty years, ten for each counts. However, legal experts say that his sentence will likely be far lighter than that.
This didn’t sit well with Rosie, who came unglued on Instagram immediately after the verdict came in.
Alongside a screenshot of MSNBC’s coverage of the Diddy verdict, Rosie wrote, “I guess a jury just never wants to believe that a woman stays because of power and coercion- wow – they just think women stay because what? money – fame – ‘they love the abuse’ – what a [expletive] joke – this decision got me angry #cassie.”
Rosie’s History With Diddy
This reaction came as a surprise to many, given Rosie’s history with Diddy. After the music mogul was arrested in September of last year, Rosie revealed that she and Diddy were previously neighbors. They lived next to each other for many years in mansions in Miami, Florida.
In a video posted to social media at the time of his arrest, Rosie, 63, revealed that she and her family were even invited to one of Diddy’s infamous White Parties. However, Rosie and her children were turned away at the door when they arrived in “sweatpants.”
“Well the next day, he called and he felt so bad that he rented out the Regal Cinema for me and my family to see any movie we wanted the entire day — in any theater whenever we wanted,” Rosie recalled.
Rosie went on to gush over Diddy for this. She said that what he did for her family here was “so unbelievably over the top and extraordinary.”

Rosie ‘In Shock’ Over Diddy Verdict
That’s why Rosie was left “in shock” when she heard the allegations that had been made against Diddy.
“I’m just kind of in shock,” she said. “And I know there is perhaps a naïveté to me in some way but how could a person live knowing that they had done that and then be a public person and continue to do it?”
“It’s very upsetting. Sex trafficking? That’s serious, man,” Rosie later added. “And then they found 1,000 bottles of baby oil. I’m gonna be thinking about that the rest of my life.”
This was a reference to the feds reportedly discovering 1,000 bottles of baby oil when they raided Diddy’s Miami mansion last year.

While Diddy has been denied bail until his sentencing, which has been scheduled for October 3, some legal experts say that he could easily be a free man within the next year.
