Back in September, we reported that Roseanne Barr was speaking out to call out the double standard after ABC reinstated the late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. This came after Kimmel was suspended by ABC for making insensitive comments about the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
This didn’t sit well with Barr. She was never given a second chance after she was fired by ABC back in 2018. Barr was dropped by the network after she posted a tweet about Barack Obama’s former advisor Valerie Jarrett that was deemed to be racist.
Thankfully, it appears that Barr is now getting the last laugh two months later. Indeed, according to Hollywood insiders, Barr is “fielding offers” for her own television comeback.
Barr’s Potential TV Comeback
“She’s fielding offers,” an insider told Radar Online. “They think Roseanne is the perfect personality for a shifting TV audience.”
“Leftist viewpoints are less in favor, with The Late Show with Stephen Colbert cancelled and other hosts walking on eggshells, thinking they may be next,” the source continued. “The time is right for a Roseanne return. And her pals are saying she believes it would be the sweetest revenge.”
Though Kimmel was reinstated at ABC, his future with the network is uncertain. His ratings have plummeted, with audiences making it clear that they’re sick of him using his late night show to spew his liberal propaganda. In a time when virtually all late night hosts are shamelessly and radically leftwing, it seems that TV executives are finally seeing that Barr would be a breath of fresh air.
“Now, Roseanne is seeing an opportunity for someone with her brash opinions to reemerge and be accepted,” the source concluded.
Barr Calls Out ABC
This comes two months after Barr called out ABC for their hypocrisy when it came to how they handled Kimmel compared to how they treated her.
“It just shows how they think. I got my whole life ruined, no forgiveness, all of my work stolen, and called a racist for time and eternity, for racially misgendering someone,” Barr, 72, told NewsNation in September. “It’s a double standard.”
“I’ve been erased from history, from the history of feminism, which that cracks me up,” she continued. “I’m never mentioned in anything about women who are pioneers in media. I’m never mentioned in anything anymore.”
Barr went on to point out that Kimmel celebrated her firing when it happened. She recalled that Kimmel “called me a racist even though I said repeatedly, which they repeatedly censored, that it was a mistake. I thought that the woman was a white woman from Iran.”
Barr added that Kimmel “called me a racist even though he himself appeared in blackface on their network many times.”
This was a reference to Kimmel wearing blackface on television numerous times over the year. In one infamous instance, Kimmel wore blackface while impersonating the legendary basketball player Karl Malone.
Barr Predicts Kimmel’s Future
As for what the future holds for Kimmel, Barr predicted, “I think he’ll cheer himself on and his fans, all — what is it? — 2,000 of them. They’ll feel heartened and like they won another battle against Trump and the people of the United States. So it’ll be a big celebration.”
Barr concluded by saying that if Kimmel “had defended me, maybe this wouldn’t have happened.”
After everything that Barr has been through, she certainly deserves to get the last laugh over Kimmel. We’re glad to see that Hollywood is waking up and realizing that the average American would much rather watch Barr than the ridiculously woke Kimmel.
God bless you, Roseanne Barr!
