Over the past few months, fears have grown for the culinary TV star Rachael Ray after she made a series of bizarre appearances and comments. Now, Ray has only added to these fears by unleashing fury on her own employees in a shocking new rant.
Ray Goes Off On Her Podcast Employees
Ray’s podcast I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead went on hiatus for the holidays back in December. Much to the surprise of fans everywhere, it still has yet to return over two months later. When asked about this in a new interview, Ray let loose on those who work on her podcast, admitting that she’s “pissed” at them.
“I beat all of my team up about it all the time,” Ray, 56, told People Magazine. “I’ve already done several that haven’t been released yet. The challenge is waiting for their asses to put it on air.”
“I’m pissed at how long it takes them to put it up,” she continued. “That’s all I’m pissed at.”
Ray went on to say that she is particularly angry about this because she loves doing her podcast and desperately wants it to continue.
“I like introducing people to new people, people that are new to my life, but I also reintroducing them to people I already love and respect, and being able to expand and expound on what I wish I had the time to do in formats I couldn’t do it in before,” Ray explained.
“I had people on that are celebrated actors and people that I have known for a real long time, but that I never got to spend more than four or five minutes with,” she added. “It’s amazing.”

Fears For Ray’s Health
This comes after a difficult few months for Ray. It all started back in September, when a video went viral in which Ray appeared to be slurring her words and drooping her face. Fans were quick to express their concern about it. Some questioned if she was drunk, while others thought she might be on a medication or suffering from a health condition.
“Is she slurring or am I slurring,” one fan commented. Another added, “I love you but are you ok? I’m seriously concerned.”
“Rachel is in a bit of trouble?! I hope someone is just as concerned as I am?” a third fan wrote. A fourth person questioned, “What the heck is wrong with her? Messy hair, slurring words….wow just wow …”

Ray’s ‘Screaming Matches’ With Her Husband
One month later, Ray admitted to having “huge screaming matches” with her husband John Cusimano.
“It’s very hard, especially for hot-tempered or creative or vociferous loud people to be able to just calm it down,” she said. “John and I don’t calm it down ever. We have huge screaming matches all the time, but I think that’s healthy. I really do. And I don’t trust people that are too quiet.”
“Too quiet freaks me out,” Ray added. “I prefer that you tell me what you think when you think it and let’s just get it all out there.”
Only time will tell when Ray’s podcast will finally return. Judging by her latest meltdown, we’re sure that Ray’s employees are scrambling to get an episode out as quickly as possible!
