Back in September, we reported that Princess Kate Middleton was officially “cancer free” after finally completing her chemotherapy treatments.

As for how she won her battle, royal experts say that Kate’s cancer battle has only “strengthened her Christian faith.”

Kate’s Strong Christian Faith

When things were dark, Kate turned to the one place that never says “no.”

“Information [has been] appearing about Kate and how, during the period of [her] cancer treatment… [she has] strengthened her values with her Christian faith by talking to friends who have strong religious values,” royal expert Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News.

Turner went on to say that these conversations “impacted positively on her recovery.”

“The Princess of Wales’s health scare has been an emotional, stormy, unsettling, and worrying period of her life,” said British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard.

“It doesn’t surprise me that she is more interested in faith,” she continued. “The power of faith can never be underestimated in overcoming challenging times and I hope [it] has given her immense solace.”

Indeed, the power of faith is immense, and has helped countless people get through the horrors of cancer.

Kate ‘More Interested’ In Her Christian Faith Than Ever

This comes after the release of royal biographer Robert Hardman’s book “Charles III: New King. New Court. The Inside Story.” In it, he revealed that Kate has become “more interested” in her Christian faith since being diagnosed with cancer.

“I would say that things are more hopeful there,” a family friend told Hardman in an excerpt that was published by Daily Mail.

Royal expert Hilary Fordwich explained that Kate’s faith in God played a major role in her upbringing. She only leaned on her faith even further after marrying Prince William in 2011.

“Faith is nothing new to Princess Catherine as she was raised in a devoutly Christian household, with her resulting faith contributing to her worldview and values,” Fordwich said. “She was christened as a child and confirmed into the Church of England preceding her wedding to Prince William. Even amid her cancer treatment, she was seen in public attending Sunday Church services in August at Balmoral’s Craithe Kirk in the Scottish village of Crathie.”

“She has spoken often regarding spirituality in her life,” Fordwich added. “Her religious beliefs are manifested in her dedication to serving others and promoting compassion.”

William Isn’t As Into Religion

In contrast, William isn’t as interested in faith. Or at least, some of the traditions involved. Hardman described him as “a modern young man” who “gets embarrassed by certain aspects of ceremonial and religion.”

“It is said, according to those in his inner circle, that Prince William has little interest in religious affairs,” said Pelham Turner.

“William, unlike his father, is not especially interested in religion, but one day will almost certainly succeed him as Supreme Governor of the Church of England,” stated royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams. “We know no details, [but] this gives those who value the connection between the church and the monarchy some hope.”

As for King Charles, however, he’s a very devout Christian. This has only brought him and Kate closer.

“King Charles’ faith is deep and strong,” said Chard. “He celebrates all kinds of spirituality and religious diversity. I like to think that the king and Princess of Wales discussed their faith during their stay at The London Clinic. The thought of King Charles toddling down the clinic’s corridors to see his beloved daughter-in-law makes me smile.”

Kate’s Cancer Battle

Kate shocked everyone when she announced her cancer diagnosis to the world back in March. Kate has never specified the type of cancer that she had. Instead, she only revealed that it was detected during  “planned abdominal surgery” in January. Kate added that she would be undergoing “preventative chemotherapy.”

On September 9, Kate revealed that she is “cancer free.” She said this in a video message that featured William and their three children.

“As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” Kate began in the video. “The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”

“The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you,” she continued. “With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything.”

Kate Is ‘Cancer Free’

Kate went on to say that she’s “cancer free.” However, she knows that she still has a long road to recovery ahead of her.

“Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus,” she said. “Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes. I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.”

We’re so glad to see that Kate’s cancer battle has brought her even closer to God. Please join us in saying a prayer for her health moving forward!
