A Meghan Markle moment has just resurfaced, and it’s being labeled as the moment that she “lost her spark.”
Meghan’s Viral Moment
Back in 2018, Meghan had just returned to the U.K. from a successful tour of Australia and the South Pacific. It was then that the royal biographical documentary Charles at 70 first exposed her demanding nature. The documentary went so far as to claim that before her 2017 wedding to Prince Harry, the groom told staffers, “What Meghan wants, Meghan gets.”
It was also reported at the time that Queen Elizabeth had warned Harry over Meghan’s behavior in relation to her tiara prior to her wedding. This was the beginning of the end for Meghan when it came to how she was perceived in the U.K.
On November 11, 2018, Meghan attended the Remembrance Sunday service at The Cenotaph, in London. Meghan, the Queen and Kate Middleton all watched the service from a balcony. However, Meghan was actually placed on a separate balcony with Elke Budenbender, the first lady of Germany. This likely didn’t sit well with Meghan, who seemingly prefers to be at the center of everything.
A TikTok account that is sympathetic to Meghan posted video from that event this past weekend.
“”Once Upon A Time when Remembrance Service was something to look forward to.🖤,” the account captioned the video. This was a clear dig at Kate Middleton and the other working royals who attended Remembrance Sunday last weekend.
Social Media Responds
The above video quickly went viral, with Meghan’s fans showing their support for her.
“And this when i knew my Princess Meghan lost her spark i could see it in her eyes,” one person commented. “But Thank God she made it out now she and her beautiful family is blossoming.”
“Bless her. she looks so frightened,” a second social media user wrote. A third added, “Meghan was not in the room with us. You can see the sadness 🥺 thank God she has the light back in her eyes.”
“One day the Royal family will beg them 2 come back, ❤❤this two,” another person commented.

Meghan Accused Of ‘Bullying’
Behind the scenes, however, it’s clear that Meghan isn’t the victim that her fans think she is. One month before the 2018 Remembrance Sunday, Jason Knauf, the communications secretary at Kensington Palace, had emailed his superiors to accuse Meghan of bullying two personal assistants out of the royal household.
One staffer allegedly told Knauf that her encounters with Meghan made her “feel sick.” Other unnamed staffers allegedly told him things like “I can’t stop shaking” and “I feel terrified.”
Meghan denied the claims at the time, describing them as the “latest attack on her character.” However, they have only piled up in the years since. To this day, she is known to have a high turnover rate in her staff.
In 2020, Meghan and Harry stepped down as senior royals. They then moved across the world to Southern California, where Meghan grew up and lived throughout most of her adult life. It appears that she ended up getting her way after all.
While Meghan still has her supporters, the royal family has garnered more sympathy in recent years. In the end, it’s a shame that the Queen had to spend her final years dealing with this nonsense before dying in 2022.
