We previously reported that the Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman and her country music star husband Keith Urban had separated after 19 years of marriage. At the time, insiders were claiming that Kidman was desperately “fighting to save her marriage.” They also alleged that she’d felt “blindsided” by Urban wanting to separate.
Hours later, however, Kidman, 58, officially filed for divorce from Urban, 58. This came amidst rumors that Urban had already moved on with a “new girlfriend.”
Earlier this month, we reported that Kidman and Urban had finally finalized their divorce on Tuesday, January 6. Now, Kidman has allegedly fled America amidst rumors that Urban has already moved in with another woman.
Kidman Flees America
Kidman, 58, has reportedly left the United States to jet off on a girls trip abroad as rumors swirl that Urban, 58, has found a new girlfriend.
The Oscar-winning actress took to Instagram on Thursday to show that she’s currently on vacation in Antarctica with family and friend. Joining Kidman on this trip is her sister Antonia, 55, who has been supporting her throughout her divorce battle.
One photo showed Kidman and her sister smiling in front of a snow-capped mountain backdrop. Another depicted Kidman posing on the deck of a boat.
“Thank you @SilverSea for taking me to my 7th continent!” Kidman wrote in the caption. “Once in a lifetime adventure with family and friends.”
Kidman later took to Instagram again to share a photo of herself posing with another unidentified woman, who she described as her “bestie.”
Has Urban Found A New Girlfriend?
This came after reports spread last week alleging that Urban had moved in with his rumored new girlfriend Karley Scott Collins. Urban is 32 years older than Collins, who opened for his 2025 High and Alive World Tour. He had previously collaborated with the 26 year-old on their 2024 duet Write One.
Collins, however, attempted to shoot down the rumors by claiming that there is no truth to them. She took to her Instagram Story on Sunday to share a share a screenshot of an article about these rumors, captioning it with a cry-laughing emoji.
“Y’all, this is absolutely RIDICULOUS and untrue,” Collins wrote alongside it.
However, many fans aren’t buying Collins’ denials. Indeed, as recently as January 3, Collins was sharing photos on Instagram showing herself intimately hugging Urban onstage. In the caption, she praised “all the incredible artists who took the boys and I on the road with you.”
Collins had previously taken to Instagram to gush over Urban on his 58th birthday on October 26. In the post, she wrote about how “kind” Urban is, adding that she felt “so lucky to call you a friend.”
As for Urban, he recently gave his first interview since his divorce was finalized.
“I’m in a different part of the journey,” Urban said while appearing on Dann Huff’s podcast.
“So there’s a lot of poetry in my input right now. Lots,” he continued. “Yeah, poetry would be in my music right now. Not rhyming poetry, but more philosophical poetry that’s really profound to me.”
Kidman And Urban Split
Kidman and Urban secretly separated in June of last year, unbeknownst to their fans. Urban was the one who initiated the split. He then immediately moved out of the family home and into his own residence in Nashville.
Kidman then spent the summer desperately trying to save their marriage. The actress finally gave in and filed for divorce on September 30.
“She didn’t want this,” a source told People Magazine after Kidman filed. “She has been fighting to save the marriage.”
Another insider told US Weekly that Kidman “had faith they could work it out.” Indeed, she still had hope despite being “quietly separated for a while.
“This wasn’t Nicole’s decision, and she is devastated,” the source lamented. “Her trust was lost, and it was too far gone. Nicole had been trying to get them to work on their marriage and did not want this to get out to the public. She didn’t tell many friends what was really going on with them and was holding this in for months.”
Given how difficult this divorce was for Kidman, it’s no wonder that she decided to flee America for a girls trip amidst rumors that Urban had found a new woman.
Divorce is never easy, particularly after so many years together. Here’s hoping that Kidman and Urban can each get past this and move on with their lives!
