Rumors have been swirling for months that Barack and Michelle Obama are heading for divorce. According to these rumors, Barack and Michelle have been living “separate lives” for quite some time.
Now, Michelle is adding fuel to these rumors in a big way by speaking negatively about Barack in public yet again. Indeed, this time, she’s opening up about how they clashed when it came to how to parent their daughters Malia and Sasha.
Michelle Admits To Clashing With Barack
On Wednesday’s episode of her IMO podcast, which she launched with her older brother Craig Robinson back in March, Michelle sat down with psychologist Jonathan Haidt. During their conversation, they discussed the parenting style known as the Ferber method.
Invented by physician Richard Ferber, the Ferber method “is meant to sleep train babies by letting the child cry for a period of time before someone comforts them,” according to The Independent.
Michelle, 61, admitted that she and Barack, 63, disagreed when it came to using this method on Malia and Sasha, who are now 26 and 24, respectively.
“I didn’t want to do it,” Michelle admitted. “Barack did it and I don’t know that I could have done it because I wasn’t sure about it — the notion that you just let the little person that you love cry and cry.”
Michelle went on to say that she struggled with listening to her children cry without comforting them. She then implied that Barack didn’t have this same problem.
“We set it up where Barack took the night shift. I went to bed, which was helpful because it got me some sleep,” she continued.
Michelle added that she had to cover her ears while her daughters cried at night. However, she admitted that the Ferber method actually did work.
“It took no longer than a week [for the method to work] and it was really after the first two nights, because we started early,” she acknowledged.

Michelle Is ‘So Glad’ That Didn’t Have Barack’s Son
This comes just one week after Michelle shocked the world by saying that she’s “so glad” that she never had Barack’s son.
“I’m so glad I didn’t have a boy,” Michelle confessed on that IMO podcast episode.
“Why didn’t you throw in a third?” asked her guest, the radio host Angie Martinez.
“Because he would’ve been a Barack Obama,” Michelle fired back.
“Baby Barack — it would’ve been amazing!” Angie responded.
Michelle, however, made it clear that one Barack is more than enough for her.
“Ooh, no, I would’ve felt for him,” Michelle said of her potential baby boy.

Michelle Accused Of ‘Really Disliking’ Barack
These are just the latest of many examples of Michelle speaking badly about Barack on her podcast. Indeed, over the past few months, she’s used her IMO podcast to bash Barack and air his dirty laundry seemingly every chance she gets.
In fact, Michelle has complained about Barack so many times on her podcast that the former Fox News host Tucker Carlson recently claimed that the former First Lady “really dislikes her husband, and it’s super obvious.”
“I’m not just saying that to be catty,” Tucker explained. “I think I’m trying to feel compassion for her but her hostility toward the guy is unbelievable.”
Tucker’s fellow Fox News host Megyn Kelly was quick to agree. She pointed out that “everything Michelle says about her husband is negative.”
“I almost never say negative things about Doug,” Megyn added, referring to her husband Doug Brunt. “He’s not perfect but when I think about him, I don’t immediately go to whatever is negative. I go to what’s positive and what I love about him.”

Obama Divorce Rumors
This also comes after months of rumors that the Obamas are heading for divorce. These rumors escalated in a big way back in January, when Michelle skipped both the funeral of Jimmy Carter and the inauguration of Donald Trump. She was the only living former First Lady to miss each of these events. This forced Barack to attend both events alone.
“I have been hearing this rumor that the Obamas are getting a divorce by reputable people,” political commentator Meghan McCain said on reporter Tara Palmeri’s podcast back in January. “I’m not talking about TMZ, I’m not talking about Perez Hilton, although I love him, he’s my friend.”
“I’m talking about like very serious journalists telling me that they’re hearing that the Obama divorce rumors are true,” she continued.
“We’ve heard that for a long time,” replied Tara, who has long covered Washington politics. “Like I just heard that they live separate lives.”

Barack has yet to ever comment publicly on the divorce rumors. Some might say that his silence has been deafening.
Meanwhile, Michelle has tried to shoot them down a few times. However, many aren’t buying her denials, given how much she’s continued to slam Barack on her podcast.
Michelle’s latest comments about clashing with Barack on parenting will certainly do nothing to help her case that her marriage is currently going strong. Only time will tell if the Obama marriage will actually survive!
