Kid Rock has been one of the most popular musicians in America for decades. His concerts are one of a kind experiences that truly have to be seen to be believed. Now, the surprising ritual that Kid Rock does after each one of his shows has been revealed.

Kid Rock’s Post-Show Ritual

While being interviewed on “Country Nights Live With Bev Rainey” last week, the country music singer Ella Langley revealed what Kid Rock reportedly does with his band after all of their concerts.

“My roommate, Trey Lewis, he was on tour with Kid for like a year,” Langley began. “And he said that he records his whole show, goes back in his greenroom, and then makes him and his band watch the tape immediately afterwards.”

“And they go through their show, just like a football game,” she added.

Indeed, football coaches typically go over game footage with their teams. They do this so that they can rewind and pause their plays as they look for ways that they can improve.

Kid Rock And His Band Perform Patriotic Music

Kid Rock is known for being close with his bandmates. He’s been playing with the Twisted Brown Trucker Band since 1994. Back in May, Kid Rock opened up about how the music they play carries a strong message of American pride.

“The message of patriotism in my music has just always been there, and I don’t know if it’s been on purpose,” Kid Rock, 54, told Fox News. “I guess it’s not really something I think about. It’s just what comes out when I’m writing. What I feel, what I see, what I experience. That’s what comes out on a piece of paper and usually into a song.”

Some of the highlights of Kid Rock’s career have come when he’s performed overseas with his band for American servicemen and women on active duty. He described this as being “some of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done in my career.”

“Unfortunately, those wars were so long,” Kid Rock acknowledged. “I went a lot of times along with people like Toby Keith – rest in peace, my old friend Toby – and so many other talented artists … that’s the least we could do is give our time and talents to be over there entertaining these kids. And like I said, some of the most rewarding, hardest work I’ve ever done.”

“It’s unfortunate these wars happened, but I feel blessed and so fortunate to have been able to go over there and bring some smiles to these kids’ faces, most times halfway around the world in some godforsaken place,” he continued.

Kid Rock’s Rock The Country Tour

Kid Rock is currently on his Rock The Country tour. He is next set to perform in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Friday and Saturday as part of a two-day musical festival event. Last month, Kid Rock described this tour to Billboard as being “small town, pro-American… everything pro-American music festival for a lot of people I felt were underserved in this country.”

Anyone who has ever been to a Kid Rock show knows how truly unforgettable they are. That’s why it comes as no surprise to learn that Kid Rock is such a perfectionist that he watches back his concerts with his bandmates right after their performances.

God bless you, Kid Rock!
