It’s been one year since the Hollywood icon Kevin Costner finalized his bitter divorce from his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner, who he was married to for 18 years. Now, sources are saying that Costner’s inner circle is “rooting for him” to start dating a popular Hollywood actress as he tries to put this divorce behind him.
Kevin Has ‘A Connection’ With A-List Actress
An insider is claiming that at a recent Hollywood party, Kevin, 70, was seen flirting up a storm with the former Mad Men star January Jones, 47. In the wake of this, Kevin’s friends are urging him to date her!
“Kevin and January have a connection and traded numbers. But if Kevin intends to pursue this, he will have to set aside all of his work distractions and woo her,” the source told Yahoo News.
“They have a lot in common,” the insider continued. “They’re both somewhat misunderstood in Hollywood and even among their fans. And now they’re becoming household names on the strength of their work alone.”
The chemistry that Kevin and January share is reportedly electric.
“You can’t get around how January is Kevin’s type, and she’s a giant fan of the guy,” the source explained.

Kevin Is Gun-Shy After Bitter Divorce
According to the insider, the only thing standing in the way of this is that Kevin is still gun-shy about love after his bitter split from his ex-wife Christine. Their divorce was finalized in February of 2024 after 18 years of marriage and three children together.
Christine then began dating Kevin’s former friend and neighbor Josh Connor. Christine and Josh have since gotten engaged, which has only rubbed salt in Kevin’s wounds when it comes to their split.
“Kevin has met tons of beautiful women since the divorce, but he has trouble taking things to the next level,” the insider added. “But everybody in his life is rooting for him to pursue January.”

January is best known for playing Betty Draper on the television show Mad Men from 2007 until 2015. She was nominated for one Emmy and two Golden Globes for her work on the beloved show.
January has never been married, and she has always kept her personal life private. She is the single mother to a 13 year-old son whose father is unknown to the public.
The source alleged that January has let it be known that she would be thrilled if Kevin asked her out.
“It’s well known in her inner circle that she thinks Kevin is hot,” the insider claimed.
Indeed, January took to Instagram to rave about Costner after meeting him at an event back in December.
“Beautiful evening… and I finally got to meet @kevincostner,” she wrote alongside a series of photos that included one of her with Kevin.
“Kevin has made an impression, and she’s letting him know through mutual friends that she’s interested,” the insider concluded. “She would love it if he asked her out. So the ball is in Kevin’s court.”
