Joe Rogan, who has previously described himself as an atheist for many years, has just made a surprising admission about Jesus Christ. Indeed, Rogan’s Christian fans will certainly be happy about this one!
Rogan’s Jesus Admission
On a recent episode of his popular podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan sat down with the TikTok personality Cody Tucker. During their conversation, Rogan explained that he doesn’t believe that the universe began from a small point that expanded into everything all of a sudden.
After acknowledging the scientific truth of the Big Bang Theory, Rogan slammed those who doubt Jesus’ resurrection.
“I’m sticking with Jesus. Jesus makes more sense. People have come back to life,” Rogan said.
Rogan went on to reference the late author and psychedelic advocate Terence McKenna.
“That’s McKenna’s great line… the difference between science and religion is that science only asks you to believe in one miracle—the Big Bang,” he explained.
Rogan then stated that he finds it harder to accept the idea that something came from nothing than the notion that something has existed forever.
“Wouldn’t it be crazy if there wasn’t something at one point in time? That seems even crazier than there’s always been something,” Rogan pointed out.

Rogan’s History With Religion
Rogan has previously said that he grew up “pretty atheist.” He has attributed this to having a difficult childhood. However, Rogan has admitted that he became spiritual after the death of his grandfather.
“I was pretty atheist,” Rogan said last year. “I grew up; I went to Catholic school, when I was very young, for first grade. And I had a really bad experience there. And I was like, ‘Religion is [expletive].'”
When Rogan was in his 20s, he moved in with his grandparents as he struggled to make it as a standup comedian. Rogan was particularly close to his grandfather. When his grandpa died, Rogan came to the realization that the soul does indeed exist.
“It’s not as simple as, you know, he stopped moving,” he recalled. “No, he’s not there. He wasn’t there anymore. And I remember this feeling of, like, understanding came across me. Like, oh, like, the thing is inside of you. Whatever that is is real. It’s not just as simple as you’re alive. And I, at that moment, of seeing my grandfather in his casket, I started considering a soul. I started thinking like, ‘Oh. This isn’t [expletive].'”

Rogan’s Increasing Interest In Christianity
In recent years, Rogan has become increasingly interested in Christianity.
“I know a lot of Christians, who are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet in your whole life,” he said back in January. “So, it does work, right? If you do live like a Christian, and you do follow the principals of Christ, you will have a richer and more love-filled life. So, it is true, right?”
“But you have to submit to this concept that this guy was the Child of God who came down to earth and let himself be crucified, came back from the dead, explained a bunch of stuff for people, then said, ‘Alright, see you when I come back,'” Rogan continued.
Rogan is arguably the most popular podcast host around these days. Indeed, his words reach millions of listeners in any given podcast episode. Bless him for starting to use his platform to spread the word of God. Keep it up, Joe!
