On Wednesday night, ABC suspended Jimmy Kimmel’s late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! days after he made truly vile comments about the assassination of the conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Now, Kimmel’s alleged reaction to this has been revealed. Let’s just say he didn’t take it well!
Kimmel Is ‘Livid’
Insiders told Daily Mail that Kimmel, 57, was “absolutely [expletive] livid” when he heard of his suspension. This came mere hours before he was set to go on air for his nightly program.
“I’ve never seen Jimmy this angry,” one of Kimmel’s producers said. This source added that Kimmel’s crew were left “wandering around like aimless cows.”
It all started on Monday, when Kimmel falsely suggested that Kirk’s assassin was “MAGA.” In reality, the shooter was a radicalized young man who held far-left ideologies, according to investigators.
“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them, and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said on Monday night.
The outrage was swift, and ABC responded on Wednesday by suspending Kimmel’s show indefinitely.
On Friday night, a tribute show for Kirk will air on ABC in Kimmel’s time slot. It’s since been reported that Kimmel won’t be allowed back on air until he makes a “direct apology to the Kirk family.”
If Kimmel wants his show back, he also must make a “meaningful personal donation to the Kirk Family and Turning Point USA.” This is the organization that Kirk founded in 2012 when he was only 18.
Kimmel’s Tantrum
However, insiders say that Kimmel is reportedly so angry that he is now trying to cut ties with ABC forever.
“Jimmy is [expletive] over the decision to suspend him and the show and he isn’t going to take this lightly, as he is actively looking for ways to get out of his contract,” said one insider. “This is the last straw and Jimmy is now looking to forever break his relationship with ABC forever.”
“Stephen Colbert is already looking to get Jimmy on his show as a guest in the next couple days or within the week,” the source continued. “Now they both are in the same predicament with being against the Trump administration, and they are now looking to do something together to fight for what they believe in.”
Colbert’s late night talk show The Late Show with Stephen Colbert was canceled by CBS over the summer. Indeed, it will be ending this coming June after its current season.
Colbert, Kimmel, and their fellow Hollywood liberal elites have claimed that The Late Show was canceled due to political reasons, as the host has been critical of President Donald Trump. However, it has since been revealed that CBS was actually losing $40-50 million a year on The Late Show.
This should make it clear that Colbert’s show was actually canceled for financial reasons. However, that hasn’t stopped Colbert and Kimmel from continuing to shamelessly blame Trump.
“They both don’t want Trump to win in any way or fashion at all, and this has lit an extreme fire under Jimmy’s [expletive] to continue to tell it like it is and be real to himself,” the insider explained.
Kimmel Producer Unravels
One of Kimmel’s producers spoke out to reveal what exactly went down when the news of the suspension broke.
“Well now I don’t have anything to do, we’re shut down indefinitely. We’re all here and were basically wandering around like aimless cows,” the producer lamented. “Jimmy is going to meet with the network now, and hopefully figure this out, but he is livid.”
“Absolutely [expletive] livid,” the producer added. “This is clearly the government overreaching. There’s no such thing as free speech in America, if the government can lean on companies to stop any content they don’t like.”
Not stopping there, the unnamed producer proceeded to attack ABC directly.
“And shame on the network for caving into the pressure,” the Kimmel producer ranted. “He didn’t even say anything that bad – but even if he did, that’s freedom of speech.”
“Jimmy said he’s going to fight this, not even because he cares so much for the show, although he does, but because he cares about the precedent,” the producer continued. “He can’t make a comment about Charlie Kirk?”
Kimmel Is ‘Beside Himself…It’s Bad’
The Kimmel producer ended this tirade by issuing an ominous threat about what Kimmel’s A-list Hollywood friends have planned in retaliation.
“This is persecution, and Jimmy isn’t going to stand for it. And he has a lot of friends who are going to cause problems if suddenly he doesn’t have a show,” the producer concluded. “As [expletive] off as I am, you can only imagine how Jimmy is. He’s beside himself. I’ve never seen him this angry, ever. It’s bad.”
Kimmel can kick and scream all that he wants to, but it’s not going to get him his show back. Like many late night hosts, he’s spent years alienating half of his audience by turning his late night show into a propaganda tool for the radical left. This has resulted in his ratings plummeting, meaning his days in late night were likely numbered anyway.
In the end, many feel that Kimmel has gotten exactly what he deserved after what he said in the wake of Kirk’s death. Sorry, Jimmy, but you just got hit with a nasty dose of karma!
