Yesterday, we reported that the former Friends star Jennifer Aniston had been targeted by an alleged stalker who was arrested at her Los Angeles mansion after crashing his car into her gates. This came at a difficult time for Aniston, as she has been plagued by rumors that she is dating the former President Barack Obama for months.
Now, insiders are claiming that Aniston is “furious” with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) in the wake of this terrifying incident that took place at her home.
Aniston Targeted By Alleged Stalker
At around 12:20pm on Monday, a suspect crashed his car into the gates of Aniston’s Bel-Air mansion, where she has lived since 2011. Aniston’s security team immediately apprehended the suspect and held him at gunpoint until police arrived to arrest him.
The LAPD later identified the suspect as 48-year-old Jimmy Wayne Carwyle. He has since been charged with felony vandalism. Police are investigating Carwyle for stalking. Indeed, social media posts allegedly written by him show that he has described Aniston as his “bride.”
“On the 5th of May at approximately 12:20 p.m., West LA officers responded to a burglary at a property in Bel Air,” an LAPD spokesperson told CBS News Los Angeles at the exact block that police reported to.

Aniston ‘Furious’ With LAPD
Now, however, an insider close to Aniston is claiming that the 56 year-old actress is “furious” with the LAPD for revealing her address to the world. Indeed, she’s allegedly terrified that more stalkers will target her because of this, now that they know exactly where she lives.
“Jen is furious with the LAPD for releasing where she lives. Although you can Google her address, she can’t believe the police revealed her block,” the source told Daily Mail. “Since the incident, she’s had people flooding outside her house, hoping to get a glimpse of her. As one of the biggest celebrities in the world, she expected more protection from the police.”
The insider went on to say that Aniston “would have been fine” if the LAPD had “just said it was her house in Bel-Air.” The fact that police went into such specific detail, however, has Aniston believing that they have “put her at risk.”
Aniston Considering Moving
A second source close to Aniston revealed that she is “extremely shaken up” in the wake of this incident. She is even “considering selling her property” because of what happened there.
“This was her dream home, but everyone knows the address,” this source lamented.
“Jen is getting to the point in her life where the last thing she ever wants is to fear for her safety,” the second insider concluded. “It is filled with so many memories, but her safety is first and foremost.”
Aniston bought the 8,500 square-foot mid-century modern style mansion for $21 million back in 2011. The home boasts four bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms with a wine cellar, pool, and guesthouse. It also has city and ocean views, and it sits on almost two acres of land.
This home served as the venue for Aniston’s 2015 wedding to the actor Justin Theroux. They sadly went on to divorce in 2018. Prior to that, Aniston was married to Brad Pitt from 2000 until they divorced in 2005.
Aniston Plagued By Rumors She’s Dating Obama
Aniston claims to be single. However, she’s spent the past few months dealing with rumors that she’s dating the former President Barack Obama. This comes amidst rumors that Obama is divorcing his wife Michelle, and that the former first couple have been living “separate lives” for quite some time.

Rumors that Obama is dating Aniston have escalated to the point that the actress has been forced to deny them in interviews. In an October interview with the late night host Jimmy Kimmel, Aniston was asked directly about the Obama dating claims.
“I was not mad at it, but that is absolutely untrue,” Jennifer said of the rumors.
“I’ve met him [Barack] once. I know Michelle more than him,” she then claimed, alleging that she only met the former president at a 2007 Hollywood gala before he took office.
