Wildfires are sadly still raging on in Los Angeles, California. As of Thursday afternoon, firefighters had the Eaton Fire 55 percent contained and the Palisades Fire 22 percent contained.

To help with the rebuilding and recovery, some of music’s top performers are stepping up to do their part to help out victims of these wildfires.

Singers Perform For Wildfire Victims

The list of performers is a hit parade for all generations.

Jelly Roll, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish and Finneas, Earth, Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Green Day, Gwen Stefani, Joni Mitchell, Katy Perry, Lil Baby, Pink, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Sting, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, and Tate McRae are set to perform at FireAid. This is a benefit concert to help the victims of these horrifying wildfires.

In the coming days, more acts and special guests will be revealed for this benefit. Indeed, it’s clear that many celebrities are eager to take part in FireAid.

“Join us for an evening of music and solidarity,” the official FireAid website reads. “The FireAid benefit concert will be held at Intuit Dome and Kia Forum on January 30th dedicated to rebuilding communities that have been devastated by wildfires.”

“Contributions made to FireAid in connection with the FireAid benefit concert and other direct donations will be distributed under the advisement of the Annenberg Foundation and will be distributed for short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters throughout Southern California,” it continues. “The Annenberg Foundation, with decades of philanthropic leadership in our community, including rapid response, will help coordinate a team to direct funds for the greatest impact.”

At least 27 people have been killed in these wildfires, and over 12,000 structures have been destroyed. The blazes have burned over 60 square miles, and they are still raging on at the time of this writing.

Celebrities Lose Their Homes To Wildfires

Meanwhile, many celebrities have lost their homes in these wildfires. These stars include Mel Gibson, Paris Hilton, Anna Faris, Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, Miles Teller, Ricki Lake, Cary Elwes, Cameron Mathison, Milo Ventimiglia, Spencer Pratt, and Heidi Montag.

Billy Crystal announced last week that the home he and his wife Janice have lived in for 46 years burned to the ground in the wildfires as well.

“Words cannot describe the enormity of the devastation we are witnessing and experiencing,” Crystal, 76, told People Magazine. “We ache for our friends and neighbors who have also lost their homes and businesses in this tragedy.”

“Janice and I lived in our home since 1979,” he continued. “We raised our children and grandchildren here. Every inch of our house was filled with love. Beautiful memories that can’t be taken away. We are heartbroken of course but with the love of our children and friends we will get through this.”

Crystal ended his statement with a message of hope.

“We pray for the safety of the firefighters and first responders,” Crystal concluded. “The Pacific Palisades is a resilient community of amazing people and we know in time it will rise again. It is our home.”
