The wife of the Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin has been arrested after she allegedly tried to hire a hitman to kill him.
Yes, really!
Aaron Goodwin’s Wife Arrested
Inmate records obtained by People Magazine show that Victoria Goodwin, 32, was arrested on March 6 in Clark County, Nevada. She was then charged with soliciting to commit murder and conspiring to commit murder.
In other words – she tried to hire a real-life hitman!
The records went on to say that Victoria was held on $100,000 bail. She was scheduled to make an initial appearance in court on Tuesday, March 11. Victoria has reportedly pled not guilty to all charges.
TMZ obtained a police report alleging that Victoria had been corresponding with a Florida inmate since October of 2024. During that time, Victoria allegedly openly talked about wanting to murder Aaron so that she could get out of her marriage.
“Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce,” read one of Victoria’s alleged messages to the inmate.
You, dear reader, will have to answer that question for yourself.

The Plot Thickens
Police say that Victoria even gave the inmate the location times and location for Ghost Adventures. She set aside $11,500 to pay the inmate in October. They had also discussed her sending an upfront payment of $2,500.
Which seems like a ludicrously low price to put on someone’s life, doesn’t it?
In the months since then, Victoria messaged the inmate about their alleged scheme many times.
“He’s asleep right now in the hotel room … I need to know what’s going on,” read one text from Victoria. “Can I get an update? Was it done?”
Victoria was caught after corrections officers at the inmate’s Florida prison found the messages. They came upon them after seizing the smuggled cellphone from the inmate.
Though Victoria has admitted to having marital issues with Aaron, she has denied plotting to kill him and said that she never wanted him dead. She also claims to have no memory of sending the messages in question to the inmate. As for the $11,500, Victoria alleges that this was money she was setting aside to purchase cellphones.

Aaron Was ‘Blindsided’
Aaron, 48, is reportedly “blindsided and devastated at this turn of events” and “thought he was in a happy marriage.”
Aaron and Victoria married at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion in California in August of 2022.
“It finally happened 💍 we got married. After postponing many times due to Covid we got our day. I couldn’t be happier ❤️,” Aaron wrote on Instagram at the time alongside their wedding photos.
Aaron is a paranormal cameraman who stars on Ghost Adventures with paranormal investigator Zak Bagans. They have been close friends since 2005, when both Aaron and Zak moved to Nevada to pursue filmmaking careers. Bagans told reporters that this has been an “emotional time” for Aaron. He added that “he’s trying to give him love and support.”
Just one week before her arrest, Victoria took to Instagram to post a photo of herself seemingly cuddling with Aaron. The image is seemingly a point of view shot of one of Victoria and Aaron’s legs as they sit on a couch. Aaron has his hand on Victoria’s knee, and his wedding ring is visible.
We can’t imagine that he’ll want to be wearing that ring for very much longer. It will certainly be interesting to see how this story develops.
