Last week, we reported that the two-time Oscar-winning star Gene Hackman was found dead at the age of 95. His 65 year-old wife Betsy Arakawa, who he was married to for over thirty years, was found dead with him, as was one of their dogs.

Now, the Oscar-nominated Hollywood legend Randy Quaid is speaking out to claim that Hackman was “murdered.”

Was Hackman ‘Murdered’?

“Gene Hackman and his wife are murder victims, some scum bags did it and staged it,” Quaid, 74, wrote on social media. “Stop talking about the films he is in, this is how they get away with murdering famous people!”

“Fake News starts generating film clips,” he continued. “How is it possible I know at least 6 people who have died like Carradine, Hackman, Ledger.”

This was a reference to David Carradine and Heath Ledger. Carradine was found dead in 2009, and his cause of death was ruled as accidental asphyxiation. Meanwhile, Ledger died in 2008 of an accidental drug overdose at the age of 28.

It seems that Quaid, however, isn’t buying these official causes of death.

“I should become a special FBI agent to these investigations of Hollywood Murders!” Quaid later added. “I already have some good leads on who killed Gene Hackman.”

So far, Quaid hasn’t offered any evidence or further information on his “good leads,” but we eagerly look forward to the results!

Hackman And Arakawa Found Dead

Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa, who he’d been married to since 1991, were found dead in their Santa Fe mansion on Wednesday afternoon.

Police have since said that the deaths were “suspicious enough in nature to require a thorough search and investigation.” They added that Arakawa was found in a bathroom. Meanwhile, Hackman’s body was found in the home’s mudroom. Deputies said that it looked like he had “suddenly fallen.”

Santa Fe Sheriff Adan Mendoza revealed on Friday that Hackman likely died at least nine days before his body was found. Indeed, the last “event” recorded on Hackman’s pacemaker occurred on February 17.

“According to the pathologist, I think it’s a good assumption that was his last day of life,” Sheriff Mendoza told reporters.

Medical Expert Weighs In

Dr. Michael Baden, former chief medical examiner of New York City, has since spoken out to reveal how he thinks Hackman and Arakawa may have died.

“So the autopsy showed he didn’t have any injury,” Baden told Fox News. “There was no carbon monoxide. And he had — the most common cause of death in this country — severe heart disease, coronary artery disease and high blood pressure perhaps, from what’s been released.”

Baden went on to say that he believes Arakawa may have died as she desperately tried to help her husband.

“His wife was found in the bathroom,” Baden explained. “They haven’t released the information about her findings, except that she did not have carbon monoxide in her, and that what appears to be from the scene and from what’s been said is that she found her husband in the mudroom.”

According to Dr. Baden, Arakawa may have rushed to the bathroom to grab Hackman’s blood pressure medication. There, he thinks she could have suffered a fall.

“She may have struck her head on the way down and had some internal injury to the brain that doesn’t show up on the outside or bleeding in the inside of the brain,” Baden continued. “Or that she may also, at 65, had severe heart disease and excitement can cause a trigger to the cardiac rhythm causing death under those circumstances. I think the first, that striking her head would be more common.”

While there is no evidence that Hackman and Arakawa were “murdered,” as Quaid suggested, their deaths are truly bizarre. Please join us in saying a prayer for their loved ones during this difficult time.
