The legendary Wheel Of Fortune co-host Vanna White got her very first tattoo earlier this month. However, she didn’t get her tattoo from just anyone. Indeed, White got it from her tattoo artist daughter Giovanna!
Vanna Gets Her First Tattoo
Vanna, 68, recently took to Instagram to post a video of her daughter Giovanna “Gigi” Santo Pietro, 28, giving her her first tattoo.
“She’s not making me do this. It’s my choice,” Vanna emphatically stated before she walked into Lincoln Tattoo Company in Venice, California, with her daughter.
In this video, White later told Santo Pietro, who she shares with her ex-husband George Santo Pietro, that she chose to get a tattoo of a pink heart on her wrist so that she “can look at it every day.” Each time she sees it, she’ll remember her daughter, since she’s the one who made the tattoo.
How sweet is that?!
Vanna admitted that she was nervous when it came time to choose the shape and color of the heart.
“I’m shaking,” she confessed.
Vanna ultimately showed a shade of pink that she felt had “a little salmon in it too.”
Then it came time for Gigi to get to work.

Vanna Is ‘So Happy’ With Her Tattoo
“I don’t feel anything,” Vanna mouthed to the camera when Gigi started. She then said that she felt “nothing” when her daughter asked what she would compare the pain to.
“I’ve been wanting to do this for a really long time. I really have,” Vanna gushed. “I’m so happy.”
Vanna could not have been happier when the tattoo was complete.
“It looks perfect. It’s just what I wanted,” she concluded to her daughter.
In the caption for the video, Vanna wrote, “I finally got my first tattoo, given to me by my talented daughter @gigisantopietro!! I will think of her every time I look at it.”
White’s Wheel of Fortune Ryan Seacrest even gave his thoughts on the tattoo in the post’s comments section.
“Love it. Now this is making me want one…” he wrote.
It seems that Gigi might soon have another famous client on her hands!

Vanna’s ‘Thirst Trap Son’
Gigi is one of Vanna’s two children. The longtime Wheel of Fortune co-host is also mother to a son named Nikko, 30. He recently got quite a bit of attention for his looks after Vanna posted a video of the two of them cooking together at the end of 2024.

“I recently posted a video of me and my son, Nikko, cooking, and it got a lot of response,” she said on Wheel of Fortune back in January. “I don’t get it.”
Ryan explained to Vanna that “the kids are calling Nikko a thirst trap.” He was quick to add that this is a positive thing, as it means that the internet “found him strikingly good-looking.”
Nikko responded to this by showing that he has a good head on his shoulders. He told Entertainment Tonight that while he finds these compliments to be “flattering,” he’s not letting this go to his head.
“People see me as this heartthrob, and they’re thirsty for me and all this stuff,” he explained. “I love it all, but at the same time, it’s really good to remember the meaningful things in life and just kind of dial it back, doing a lot of charity work, working hard every day.”
