The Oscar-winning Hollywood star Brad Pitt’s Los Angeles home was broken into and “ransacked” by three suspects late Wednesday night.

Pitt’s Home Burglarized

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) told Fox News that Northeast area officers responded to the 2300 block of Edgemont Street at 10:30pm on June 25. There, three suspects allegedly broke into the home through the front window. They then “ransacked” the residence before fleeing with miscellaneous items.

While police did not identify the owner of the home, multiple outlets have confirmed that it’s Pitt. Police are reportedly still looking for the three suspects in connection with this burglary.

Pitt was reportedly not home at the time of the break-in. He is currently on a promotional tour for his new film F1: The Movie, which hits theaters today.

Pitt’s Ex-Wife Aniston Targeted By Stalker

This comes one month after Pitt’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, who he was married to from 2000 until they divorced in 2005, was targeted by a deranged stalker.

Indeed, a stalker later identified as identified as Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, 48, was arrested on May 5 after crashing his car into the gates of Aniston’s $21 million sprawling hilltop Bel-Air mansion. Aniston was home at the time. Luckily, her security team was able to apprehend Carwyle before he could get to her. They held him at gunpoint until police arrived to arrest him.

“Comments from the call stated that a male suspect drove through the gate of the residence in his vehicle. Private security at the location detained the suspect while awaiting LAPD officers to arrive. … West LA officers responded and took the suspect into custody without incident,” police said at the time.

According to prosecutors, Carwyle “repeatedly” harassed Aniston between March 1, 2023 and May 5, 2025. During that time, he hounded her with “unwanted social media, voicemail, and email messages.”

In these messages, Carwyle allegedly described Aniston as his “bride” and his “true soulmate.”

Carwyle’s wife Julia later told Daily Mail that “he believes he was Jesus Christ and that she was supposed to be his queen.” He was later declared mentally unfit to stand trial.

Pitt Talks Alcoholics Anonymous

On Monday, two days before he was burglarized, Pitt opened up about attending his first Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting in the wake of his messy split from his second wife Angelina Jolie.

“I was really open to I was trying anything and everyone anything anyone threw at me,” he recalled while appearing on the Armchair Expert podcast. This came after Pitt found himself “pretty much on [his] knees” and realizing that he needed to “wake the [expletive] up in some areas.”

“It was a difficult time,” Pitt admitted. “I needed rebooting.”

Some saw this as a cryptic reference to Aniston. This is because she once famously used a computer chip as an analogy to discuss Pitt’s temperament. Indeed, when discussing the way Pitt handled their break up, Aniston once said that he had a “sensitivity chip missing.”

Thankfully, AA has been a success for Pitt, who remains clean and sober.

“It gives you permission to go, ‘OK, I’m gonna step out on this edge and see what happens,'” he said of AA. “And then I really grew to love it.”

Watch Pitt talk more about this in the video below.

Pitt has yet to break his silence about his burglary. We can only hope and pray that the suspects are apprehended before they can target anyone else!
