Last month, we reported that the country music star Billy Ray Cyrus is dating the British Austin Powers star Elizabeth Hurley. Now, Cyrus is speaking out to gush over Hurley as they make their official red carpet debut as a couple.
Cyrus And Hurley’s Red Carpet Debut
Cyrus, 63, and Hurley, 59, made their red carpet debut in Rome, Italy on Monday night. Afterwards, Cyrus took to Instagram to post some behind-the-scenes footage of their big night out.
Cyrus’ video was set to the KC and the Sunshine Band’s “That’s the Way (I Like It).” It began with him and Hurley walking arm-in-arm as they seem to be leaving their hotel.
The video then cuts to Cyrus and Hurley holding hands as they walk through the Orizzonti/Rosso exhibition at Palazzo Barberini. There, they enjoyed a dinner in celebration of its opening.
“With my beautiful girlfriend in Rome,” Cyrus wrote in the video’s caption. He added a red heart emoji at the end.
Hurley, who has been a supermodel for decades, looked breathtakingly beautiful at the event. She shined in a bright pink, figure-hugging gown featuring a plunging neckline and cape-style sleeves. Hurley completed her look with silver platform heels and a pair of statement earrings.
Meanwhile, Cyrus was looking pretty dapper himself! He wore tight-fitting black pants and a black jacket with leather accents. Cyrus topped this off with a western hat and dark sunglasses.
It can’t be denied that Cyrus and Hurley radiate happiness in this video. Indeed, it’s clear that these two are very much in love.

Hurley And Cyrus Go Public With Relationship
Hurley and Cyrus revealed their relationship to the world last month on Easter Sunday. The actress shared a photo of the two of them kissing while Cyrus wore bunny ears for the holiday.
“Happy Easter ♥️,” Hurley captioned that Instagram post.
Cyrus has since spoken out to say that he sees this relationship as being a gift from God.
“It’s just been beautiful,” Cyrus said last month. He proceeded to say that there are “no expectations of where we go from here other than her and her son. I do love him a lot, and it’s great that God brought them into my life when he did. It’s just a good thing.”
“It’s been a long time since I’ve been this happy,” he continued.

Hurley And Cyrus’ History
Hurley and Cyrus first met when they appeared together in the 2022 movie Christmas in Paradise. Though they hit it off on set, they lost touch once filming ended. However, they recently reconnected when Hurley texted Cyrus out of the blue. At the time, Cyrus was in the midst of a bitter divorce from his third wife, the singer Firerose.
“I felt like, ‘Wow, can life get any harder? Can it get any tougher?’ For me, at a certain point, it was like, ‘You can’t get knocked down any flatter than laying on your back when life is kicking you,’” Cyrus recalled. “And, in this moment, this hand kind of reached out in a text message, not a physical hand, as in the one you saw in the picture. That’d be good. A friend reached out.”
Cyrus initially “didn’t even know the number” of the person texting him. The message that he got read something like, “Hey, it looks like life might be a little bit tough and just wanted you to know I’m in your corner; you’ve got a friend in your corner.”
“So, I text back, I go, ‘Who is this?’ And it’s like, ‘Elizabeth Hurley.’ Of all the people to reach out to me in that second that maybe I needed most,” Cyrus recounted. “This friend that made me laugh.”

Hurley Isn’t Surprised By Cyrus Romance
Many see Cyrus and Hurley as polar opposites, as he’s a country music star from Tennessee while she’s a posh British actress and socialite. Hurley herself, however, isn’t shocked by the romance.
“I think people found Billy and I being together a little surprising,” Hurley told Page Six earlier this month. “It’s not surprising to me because we’re actually quite similar and get on extremely well.”
“We both like to laugh a lot, and we both love the country,” she explained. “And we both love country music, both love movies. We’ve got a lot in common — and cowboy boots, definitely.”
