Last week, we reported that the country music star Billy Ray Cyrus is dating the British former Austin Powers actress Elizabeth Hurley. Then, earlier this week, we reported that Hurley was enjoying spending time on Cyrus’ ranch in Tennessee.
Now, insiders are speaking out to reveal that Cyrus and Hurley are madly in love.
Hurley And Cyrus’ ‘Very Special Connection’
Hurley, 59, left Tennessee to fly back to the United Kingdom on April 28. Cyrus, 63, even dropped her off at the airport himself. A source close to Hurley has since revealed that she will be coming back to Tennessee very soon, as she is absolutely smitten with Cyrus!
“Liz spent a beautiful couple of weeks in Tennessee with Billy Ray,” the insider told People Magazine. “She loved being surrounded by nature in a more laid-back environment. She had a great time with Billy Ray.”
“They are keeping in touch now and plan on seeing each other soon again,” the source continued. “They both believe they were meant to connect again.”
The insider went on to say that Cyrus and Hurley “appreciate each others’ love and friendship. They have a very special connection.”
The source concluded by saying that Hurley is preparing to celebrate her 60th birthday next month on June 10. She plans to have an intimate celebration with family, and Cyrus will likely be included.
Hurley Enjoys Cyrus’ Tennessee Ranch
Last weekend, Hurley took to Instagram to share photos of herself and Cyrus enjoying his Tennessee ranch. The couple were seen hanging out and driving around in an ATV.
“Tennessee weekend ❤️,” Hurley captioned the photos.
Hurley and Cyrus revealed their relationship to the world on Easter Sunday. Hurley shared a photo of the two of them kissing while Cyrus wore bunny ears for the holiday.
“Happy Easter ♥️,” Hurley captioned that Instagram post.
Cyrus has since spoken out to say that he sees this relationship as being a gift from God.
“It’s just been beautiful,” Cyrus said last Friday. He proceeded to say that there are “no expectations of where we go from here other than her and her son. I do love him a lot, and it’s great that God brought them into my life when he did. It’s just a good thing.”
“It’s been a long time since I’ve been this happy,” he concluded.

Hurley And Cyrus’ History
Hurley and Cyrus first met when they appeared together in the 2022 movie Christmas in Paradise. Though they hit it off on set, they lost touch once filming ended. However, they recently reconnected when Hurley texted Cyrus out of the blue. At the time, Cyrus was in the midst of a bitter divorce from his third wife, the singer Firerose.
“I felt like, ‘Wow, can life get any harder? Can it get any tougher?’ For me, at a certain point, it was like, ‘You can’t get knocked down any flatter than laying on your back when life is kicking you,’” Cyrus recalled. “And, in this moment, this hand kind of reached out in a text message, not a physical hand, as in the one you saw in the picture. That’d be good. A friend reached out.”
Cyrus initially “didn’t even know the number” of the person texting him. The message that he got read something like, “Hey, it looks like life might be a little bit tough and just wanted you to know I’m in your corner; you’ve got a friend in your corner.”
“So, I text back, I go, ‘Who is this?’ And it’s like, ‘Elizabeth Hurley.’ Of all the people to reach out to me in that second that maybe I needed most,” Cyrus recounted. “This friend that made me laugh.”

Hurley Is ‘So Impressively Brilliant’
The rest, as they say, is history. These days, Cyrus appears to be more in love with Hurley than ever.
“If all we ever were [is] the friends that we are, I would take that. She’s so impressively brilliant,” he gushed. “She reminds me a lot of Dolly Parton. She’s a very smart businesswoman. If you can laugh together, you can make it through everything.”
Cyrus and Hurley are definitely not two stars that most people would associate with one another. However, opposites attract, and that certainly seems to be what happened here.
