Last week, we reported that the country music star Billy Ray Cyrus is dating the former Austin Powers actress Elizabeth Hurley. On Sunday, Hurley took to social media to let the world know that she is enjoying the country life on Cyrus’ Tennessee ranch.
Hurley’s ‘Tennessee Weekend’ With Cyrus
Hurley, 59, posted two photos to Instagram on Sunday. The first showed Cyrus, 63, wrapping his arms around her as they stood against a tree. The second image showed the couple touring Cyrus’ Tennessee ranch together in an all-terrain vehicle.
“Tennessee weekend ❤️,” Hurley wrote in the caption.
In her post, Hurley included Cyrus’ 2009 song “Back to Tennessee,” which was released with Hannah Montana: The Movie. Indeed, the song was perfect for the couple’s Tennessee weekend, as its lyrics are all about Cyrus returning to his Tennessee roots.
“All this time I was chasing after dreams, it was right in front of me, I was lost without her,” the lyrics state. “I’m on the road now, I know just what I need, to find my way back to Tennessee.”
“I’m coming home now, to Southern, is so sweet, and find my way back to you and me, find my way back to Tennessee,” the lyrics continue.

Cyrus And Hurley Go Public With Their Relationship
Cyrus and Hurley revealed their relationship to the world last week, when they posed together for Easter Sunday. Days later, Cyrus described their relationship as being a gift from God. He added that he has never been happier in his life.
“It’s just been beautiful,” Cyrus said on Friday. He went on to say that there are “no expectations of where we go from here other than her and her son. I do love him a lot, and it’s great that God brought them into my life when he did. It’s just a good thing.”
“It’s been a long time since I’ve been this happy,” he concluded.

Hurley And Cyrus’ History
Hurley and Cyrus first met when they appeared together in the 2022 movie Christmas in Paradise. Though they hit it off on set, they lost touch once filming ended. However, they recently reconnected when Hurley texted Cyrus out of the blue. At the time, Cyrus was in the midst of a bitter divorce from his third wife, the singer Firerose.
“I felt like, ‘Wow, can life get any harder? Can it get any tougher?’ For me, at a certain point, it was like, ‘You can’t get knocked down any flatter than laying on your back when life is kicking you,’” Cyrus recalled. “And, in this moment, this hand kind of reached out in a text message, not a physical hand, as in the one you saw in the picture. That’d be good. A friend reached out.”
Cyrus initially “didn’t even know the number” of the person texting him. The message that he got read something like, “Hey, it looks like life might be a little bit tough and just wanted you to know I’m in your corner; you’ve got a friend in your corner.”
“So, I text back, I go, ‘Who is this?’ And it’s like, ‘Elizabeth Hurley.’ Of all the people to reach out to me in that second that maybe I needed most,” Cyrus recounted. “This friend that made me laugh.”

Cyrus Praises Hurley
The rest, as they say, is history. These days, Cyrus is absolutely smitten with Hurley.
“If all we ever were [is] the friends that we are, I would take that. She’s so impressively brilliant,” he gushed. “She reminds me a lot of Dolly Parton. She’s a very smart businesswoman. If you can laugh together, you can make it through everything.”
While Hurley has yet to give an interview about her new relationship, the British star’s Instagram posts indicate that her feelings for Cyrus are just as strong. We wish these two lovebirds the best of luck with their relationship in the months and years to come!
