It’s been two years since the former “Full House” star Bob Saget passed away suddenly at the age of 65, but he’s still dearly missed by millions of fans to this day. Now, Saget’s former co-star Candace Cameron Bure is speaking out to reveal the inspiring lesson that he taught her.
Cameron Bure’s Learns Lesson From Saget
Cameron Bure, 48, spent years starring with Saget on the sitcom “Full House,” which ran from 1987 until 1995, and she learned quite a bit from him during those years.
“Bob was always so inspiring because he always told you that he loved you no matter what,” Cameron Bure told Hola! Magazine. “When he left, when he said goodbye, he always hugged you and he always told you that he loved you.”
“So you always knew it,” she continued. “And that has been so inspirational to me and in my life today, to make sure I say that every single time I leave a room with my family and my friends so they know I love them.”
Cameron Bure went on to praise both Saget and their “Full House” co-star John Stamos.
“I mean, they are incredible people,” she gushed. “I have worked with many big names over the years and have had wonderful experiences. Especially with John and Bob, I mean, those are memories of 35 years.”
“It’s people like them that made my experience so great that I’ve wanted to stay in this business for as long as I’ve been in it,” she added. “Because when you start out as a kid, you kind of never know how it’s gonna go, but the people around you are what makes the difference.”
Cameron Bure Honors Saget
On the two year anniversary of Saget’s death back in January, Cameron Bure opened up about how close the “Full House” cast remains to this day.
“We’re all close friends. We keep in contact, like, constantly. I always just get amused when [the media calls] them reunions because I’m like, ‘We’re literally family hanging out,'” she told Fox News. “But sometimes we do that publicly.”
“It’s always going to be a special but hard day in our lives,” she continued. “We’re always going to honor Bob for the rest of our lives and probably together and probably publicly because we love him so much and want to keep his memory alive. We’re family through and through.”

Saget Was The ‘Glue’ Of The ‘Full House’ Family
Last year, Cameron Bure described Saget as the “glue” of the “Full House” family.
“Oh, Bob. Why’d you have to leave us so soon? We are all family, but you were the glue,” Cameron Bure wrote on Instagram. “The sticky, messy, squishy, sweet, lovable glue.
“My childhood is wrapped up in you, my formative teenaged years and the rest of adulthood,” she added. “We’ve always been so deeply connected since the day we met when I was 10 years old. You weren’t just like a father, but one of my closest friends in life. This hurts like nothing I’ve ever felt before.”
Saget was a true legend, and there never will be another one like him. Please join us in saying a prayer for Cameron Bure and his other loved ones as they continue to mourn him!
